I Am Attracted To Another Man And Trying Not To Cheat On My Husband. How Do I Battle The Fantasy That Is Starting To Build In My Mind? Jane: ...stay faithful to my husband... Dr. John Delony: Woah. Okay. Jane: ...and I'm attracted to another man. Dr. John Delony: Okay, tell me about it. Jane: Which part? (laughs) Dr. John Delony: Um, well those, those are... those are often mutually exclusive, and you're combining them. So tell me about this person you're attracted to. Jane: Okay, um, so he, I haven't crossed the line for like physical contact. However, I'm doing everything I can to not make like an excuse to bump into him, uh, you know, have alone time with him. Okay. So, he is uh very different from my husband, and my husband is great, and this guy seems great, so maybe they're not that different. But um, physically they're very different. Um, their jobs are very different, and I am attracted to uh this guy. Dr. John Delony: What is it about this other guy that makes you feel a little more alive than you do in your own house? Jane: Um, I don't feel uh boring, like "Plain Jane" (laughs). Um, it's just almost like a fantasy life in my head of what would it be like to have a life with him versus the life I've created. Dr. John Delony: You just nailed it, sister. You nailed it. Jane: Yeah. Dr. John Delony: So you... Jane: But I still need your advice. (laughs) Dr. John Delony: Okay, but you just took full ownership in a way. And usually, like, I don't know if you've done some work or if you've just been stressing on this... Jane: Stressing. Dr. John Delony: The hardest part in this kind of situation, when somebody's standing at the precipice of making a life-altering decision that's going to blow their life up... Jane: Yes. Dr. John Delony: ...is taking ownership of the life you have co-created with somebody else. Jane: Yes. Dr. John Delony: Because that's the thing that you can change. Today, you can walk by this guy's desk or his office and drop a hotel keycard. Jane: Exactly. Dr. John Delony: You can do that. And if he chooses to, you know, let's go all the way through it, would he meet you there? Jane: Yes. Dr. John Delony: Okay. You could do that. Jane: And I have talked to my husband about this, also.. Dr. John Delony: Hold on, we're not there yet. You're trying to get out of the situation, stay in it with me. Jane: I am. Dr. John Delony: You can do that, and every part of your life work, home, do you have kids? Jane: Yes. Dr. John Delony: Kids every part of your life explodes. Jane: Yes. Dr. John Delony: And yet, this guy makes your heart beat a little faster, he laughs at your jokes, you like the way he moves... Jane: He's very cute. Dr. John Delony: He's a handsome guy. He's a good-looking guy. Jane: He's handsome, yeah.

My Girlfriend Gave Me An HIV; Not Sure Where To Go From Here ( Should We Stay Together?) Caller (Tim):so my question is, my girlfriend gave me a... a quite serious STD, and my parents found out about this. They are now against our relationship saying that it's a way that God is showing that this relationship was not meant to be. Um, I've been fighting this like against my parents. And my question is, has... is there too much that has happened for this relationship to work? Uh, or am I trying too hard to make it work? Dr. John Delony: Bro, there's a lot going on here, man. Whole lot. Um, before I dig in, let's... let me just... let's just have a conversation so I can get to know you for a second. Is that cool? Caller: Okay, yeah. Dr. John Delony: Um, you sound a little bit nervous. Are you nervous, or is this just weird? Or, I realize you're calling a stranger being like, "Yeah, I got an STI from this woman that I love." This whole thing's kind of weird. Caller: Well, no. This is basically the first person outside of this situation that I've talked to, so... Dr. John Delony: Gotcha. Well, dude, I'm... I'm grateful for the trust. It sounds like there's a lot, lot going on here. Um, tell me about you. How old are you? What do you do for a living? All that kind of stuff. Caller: Uh, 27. Um, uh, going to... uh, studying nursing. Dr. John Delony: Okay. Caller: And, uh, just about to graduate here. Dr. John Delony: So, congratulations on that. Um, do you live at home? Caller: No, I don't. Dr. John Delony: Okay. So, what kind of STI did you get? Caller: Uh, HIV. Dr. John Delony: Okay. So, you've got HIV. Okay, so I was wondering if this was... The... my first question was why in the world do your parents know? Um, if I'm 27, the last people on planet Earth I would call and tell I have an STI is my parents. But, um, HIV is super serious. What is your, um, health prognosis? Caller: it's... so, I guess the situation gets a little bit more difficult because, my dad does computer diagnostics, and he was able to accidentally kind of find out I have this, and so I am... Dr. John Delony: Accidentally kind of? What does that mean? Caller: Meaning he wasn't expecting it. He wasn't looking for it. It was just kind of came up when, uh, he was doing the... I regularly do checkups. He's a... a doctor. Dr. John Delony: Oh, so he's a doctor at the place where you went to get checked out, and he discovered through the computer system that his son has HIV? Caller: Yes. it's a... alternative medicine that he does, and so it's... it's a very different kind from modern medicine, so it's just the way that he found out. Um, I just go to my dad for all his, checkups. Dr. John Delony: Yeah. What a mess. Okay, so tell me about this person that you're dating. Caller: Um, so... um... I guess what... uh, what would you like to know about her? Dr. John Delony: Well, just tell me about her. Caller: Well, uh, she's a... she's a nurse. Um, and, uh, Illinois, and, um... This is the second, uh, serious relationship she's had. Dr. John Delony: Okay. Caller: Uh, for me, it's... um, maybe the first serious relationship for me. Dr. John Delony: Okay. Caller: Um, and so, she's... I mean, she grew up in a Christian family. She's... um... Dr. John Delony: Did she knowingly... knowingly give you HIV? Caller: No, she didn't know about it. Dr. John Delony: Okay. Is she the first person you've ever slept with? Caller: Yes. Dr. John Delony: Okay. How long have y'all been together?

Man admits he’s been cheating on his wife for 8 years… and still finds ways to blame her. Caller: “I’ve been married more than 20 years. I got involved with a coworker. It’s been about eight years now.” He said he struggled with the situation. “I’ve had a very difficult time dealing with those emotions. It’s drawn me away from being the best husband and father.” But he insisted he didn’t want his marriage to end. “I don’t want a divorce. I never planned this.” Dr. John Delony: “This isn’t a one-night stand. This is an eight-year-long sexual and emotional affair.” Then he challenged the way the caller was talking about it. “You’re talking about it like it just happened.” And then came the question he couldn’t avoid: “You’re going to blame your wife for this too?” Delony pointed out that marital tension doesn’t justify betrayal. “I don’t know a single marriage that doesn’t have tension when kids come along. That’s par for the course.” “And still… you chose to sleep with one of your employees for the better part of a decade.” Then he brought the conversation back to personal responsibility. “You have agency. You’ve always had agency.” His final assessment was brutal: “You’ve burned your house down. It’s already gone.” But he didn’t leave the caller without a path forward. “The only thing you can do now is the next right thing.” The hard truth: An eight year affair isn’t a lapse in judgment. It’s thousands of individual choices repeated over time. You can’t undo them, and you can’t outsource responsibility for them. If there’s any path forward, it starts with stopping the blame, telling the truth, accepting the consequences, and doing the next right thing.

John Delony says the first conversation can determine whether you lose your child. Caller: I recently found out my daughter… she’s 15… and I found out she and her friend are dating. My husband and I are Christians, and I’m trying to figure out how to talk to her… what boundaries to set. John Delony: How did you find out they were dating? Caller: She was texting her girlfriend on my phone… she forgot to delete the messages. John Delony: Good for you for being a parent that checks your kid’s phone. You’re a parent. John Delony: Here’s the first thing. If your 15-year-old had a boyfriend, you wouldn’t let him spend the night. Caller: Right. John Delony: So that world ends immediately. Caller: We put a stop to the sleepovers immediately. John Delony: But I want her to know the sleepovers are not ending because you’re gay. John Delony: They’re ending because you’re dating somebody. I wouldn’t let you have any partner over here. John Delony: Then we get to the faith part of this. John Delony: I cannot count the number of parents who’ve come to me and said, “I would do anything to have that first conversation back…” John Delony: “I didn’t just give them my opinion on their sexuality… I lost my kid.” Caller: We haven’t talked to her yet. I was waiting until I talked to you. John Delony: The first and most important thing I’d tell any parent is this… John Delony: “You are my daughter, and I will love you till the end of time.”

Caller: "How do I tell my daughter that I don't want to participate in her wedding events because I just don't like the guy that she's marrying? You know, I don't like the guy because he's a jerk. He's a screamer, he yells and screams when he doesn't get his way, does the guilt-tripping, financially abusive a whole laundry list of reasons that he wouldn't make a, a good husband right now. And looks like it's going forward, and there's, you know, just not anything I can do about it." Dr. John Delony: "Let's take the wedding and let's move it off to the side for a second. Tell me with raw, transparent honesty: when is another time in her life when she was making decisions that you didn't like and you backed up and walked away? Caller: "Oh goodness... when she moved out to go live with her dad after our divorce. My ex-husband was an addict. He ultimately chose being an addict over his family. When we divorced, the children were old enough to make the decision of where they wanted to go, and she chose to live with him. And I just really took a big step back." Dr. John Delony: "How old was your daughter?" Caller: "Sixteen. Dr. John Delony: "Okay. Did Mom and Dad ever bail on you? Caller: "Oh, yeah, I, I had nobody. Dr. John Delony: "I would be willing to bet money that there's still a 14 or 15 or 16-year-old little girl inside your chest that is wondering, 'What was so bad about me that Mom and Dad left?' But that 16-year-old that sits and lives inside your chest would do anything for a conversation with your dad to lean across a table and say, 'I screwed up, honey, and I'm so sorry. You were always beautiful, you always smart.'

🇲🇽❤️ This little boy just melted the internet — and every dad’s heart. For a whole year, he saved every single peso from his allowance. No toys. No candy. No games. Just one mission burning in his little heart: buy his dad the authentic Mexican National Team soccer jersey he’d been wanting forever. When Father’s Day finally arrived, he walked up with the biggest surprise of his dad’s life. “Dad? Close your eyes…” His dad obeyed, smiling, probably expecting a handmade card or a hug. Instead, he opened his eyes to the real deal — the official green jersey with the eagle, the Aztec patterns, the quality stitching that only true fans recognize. His reaction says everything: “No freaking way… Oh my god. I’ve been wanting one of these. Is this the real one?” “Yeah.” “Where did you get $100, bro?” “From my allowance. I saved it since last year… because I know you’re the best dad. Do you like your gift?” Tears. Hugs. The kind of moment that makes time stand still. This isn’t just a jersey. It’s a year of skipped treats. It’s quiet sacrifice. It’s a little boy saying “I see how hard you work for us… and I wanted to give something back.” In a world obsessed with big flashy gifts, this child reminded us that the most powerful ones come from small hands and enormous love. To every dad grinding every day so their kids can dream bigger — and to every kid who notices: You are the real MVPs. To the heroes who wear the jersey of fatherhood with pride every single day. ⚽🇲🇽 Tag your dad or your son right now. Let them know they’re loved like this. ❤️ What’s the most thoughtful gift you’ve ever given or received from family? my new song “BREAKDOWN.” is out on the 21st of June!!! 🖤🖤🖤 I wrote this poem because it’s been the hardest year for my mental health. In my life I’ve always never felt good enough, it’s just the thing that’s eaten me up. For as long as I can remember i have felt constantly afraid of how quickly my head can turn dark. It’s always been so hard to fight the darkness that i inevitably have. A lot of people will say it’s a phase and it will go away. But it doesn’t and the reality of the situation is I have to find strategies to deal with it. To put it plainly the things I don’t like about myself will probably never change, people tell me one day I’ll come-to terms with them one day but I want that day to be FUCKING NOW. This song is a message to myself to try and exist alongside my insecurities and my darkness by grounding myself and remembering what is real in life and the world is so much bigger than me. Try and get out of your head and notice the world around you, notice the things and people around you. Connect with them, the chances are they probably feel the same. Don’t let the bullshit inside your head consume you. It just wastes precious time. Remember what is real. Help people, be kind, help the world, help yourself. If you think you can’t do it, you can. You can get through this, trust me. Use this poem in a mornin to get u out of bed, use it when youre about to back out of something last minute, use it when you’re at your darkest. It’s got a little bit of light in it. Don’t forget to put your feet in the grass … Mind
