Jack Kruse drops quantum biology gold: The sun acts as a massive cathode ray hitting Earth (the anode), pumping free electrons upward. Walk barefoot (or in leather soles) and you're literally charging your "battery" with free energy—less need to eat as much. Grounding isn't woo—it's nature's guilt-free buffet of...

People living in high-rise buildings have a 40% higher risk of stroke than people living in single-story homes. This finding comes from a 2009 study by Wolinsky & colleagues — 5,511 Medicare beneficiaries, 12 years of follow-up. Nobody talks about this. Dr. Gaétan Chevalier — engineering physicist, Director of the Earthing Institute, visiting scholar at UC San Diego School of Medicine — has a hypothesis for why. When you're not grounded, you continuously lose electrons to the atmosphere. The atmosphere is positively charged. Humid air conducts electrons away from your body constantly. But living in a high-rise building compounds this further. The electrical gradient on the ungrounded person increases as they move to higher floors of a building. A person who stands on the surface of the earth while wearing insulated shoes will have an electrical gradient in their body with the top of their head some 200 V positive with respect to the ground. Every additional floor adds 10–15 volts of electrical gradient between your head and your feet. It matters because it puts your ungrounded body at a higher positive electrical potential relative to the Earth. Stroke may be one consequence. Osteoporosis may be another. The body compensates by redirecting electrons from bones to keep vital organs functioning. Chevalier: "You're building inside your body what they call smoldering inflammation. It's like low-level inflammation. It's like oxidative stress building up in your body. Something's going to give up." The body is intelligent. It knows it's missing electrons. So it preserves internal organs first — by stealing electrons from bones. The result: calcium resorption accelerates. Bones are sacrificed. This is Chevalier's proposed mechanism — not the conclusion of the stroke study. But independent research supports the bone loss piece. Dr. Paweł Sokal's double-blind controlled study — 84 healthy adults sleeping in a high-rise building. One group grounded overnight via a conductive copper plate connected to the earth. One group not grounded. One night of grounding: Renal excretion of calcium dropped from ~2.14 to 1.12 mmol/8h. Renal excretion of phosphorus dropped from ~16.85 to 10.70 mmol/8h. Serum ionized calcium, total calcium, alkaline phosphatase — all reduced significantly. The authors' conclusion: grounding during sleep influences calcium-phosphate homeostasis — opposing what happens during spaceflight bone loss. One night. Grounded. Bones retained more minerals. Chevalier's summary: "If you want not to have osteoporosis, just be grounded. The body will have enough electrons. We're avoiding so many problems by being grounded." If you live in a high-rise: ground yourself daily. Barefoot outside. Even 20-30 minutes. The earth isn't far. You just have to get back to it.

How much physical energy does it ACTUALLY cost you to worry about the future? Dr Martin Picard's research argues stress isn't just a mental weight - it's an expensive biological tax on your cells. In his lab, when human cells were exposed to stress hormones, the energy cost of just staying alive inside those cells shot up by 60% (He’s also the scientist whose team literally sliced a human brain into 703 cubes just to map how energy moves through it 🤯) You have a stressful morning, a difficult conversation, or a few anxious thoughts you can't shake, and by 2pm you feel completely drained. Your mind is tired, but your cells are genuinely exhausted. Dr Martin Picard is a Professor of Behavioural Medicine at Columbia University and I sat down with him to understand how our emotions and lived experiences physically change the mitochondria inside us - the tiny structures responsible for producing all the energy we rely on. My energy has always felt a bit like roulette. Some days I wake up feeling incredible, other days I feel like I've done the exact same things but I've got nothing in the tank. Martin completely reframed how I look at this. Energy isn't just a biological default; it's one of the most important scientific questions of our lives. We discussed things like: - Why you can do everything “right” (sleep, diet, exercise) and still wake up completely exhausted. - The physical tax of stress and what a single anxious morning does to your cells. - Why mitochondria are the missing link behind burnout, depression, and chronic fatigue. - What actually dictates your cellular energy day-to-day. - The truth about whether fasting, meditation, deep purpose and relationships can rewrite your biology. This is a conversation about understanding what your body is constantly responding to where your energy is actually going and why so many of us feel tired in ways that more sleep or more food don't always solve. If you feel flat, anxious, or exhausted and can't explain why - this one's for you.

Elon Musk: Everything is solar power. The rest is noise. “The sun is about 99.8% of the mass of the solar system. Jupiter's about 0.1% and everything else is in the remaining 0.1%, and we are much less than 0.1%. So, if you burnt all of the mass of the solar system, then the total energy produced by the sun would still round up to 100%. If you just burnt Earth, the whole planet, and burnt Jupiter, which is very big and quite challenging to burn, turn Jupiter into a thermonuclear reactor, the sun is 99.8% of the mass of the solar system and everything else is in the miscellaneous category. Basically, no matter what you do, total energy produced in our solar system rounds up to 100% from the sun. You could even throw another Jupiter in, so we're going to snag a Jupiter from somewhere else, you could teleport two more Jupiters into our solar system, burn them, and the sun would still round up to 100%. As long as you're at 99.6%, you're still rounding up to 100%. Maybe that gives some perspective of why solar is really the thing that matters. And, as soon as you start thinking about things at a grander scale, like Kardashev Scale 2 civilizations, it becomes very, very obvious. I'm not saying anything that's new, by the way. Anyone who studies physics has known this for a very long time. In fact, Kardashev, a Russian physicist who came up with this idea, I think, in the 1960s, just as a way to classify civilizations, where Kardashev Scale 1 would be, you've harnessed most of the energy of the planet, Kardashev Scale 2, you've harnessed most of the energy of your sun, Kardashev 3, you've harnessed most of the energy of a galaxy. Now we're only about 1% or a few percent of Kardashev Scale 1 right now, optimistically. But as soon as you go to Kardashev Scale 2, where you're talking about the power of the sun, then you're really just saying everything is solar power and the rest is in the noise. Like, the sun produces about a billion times, or call it well over a billion times more energy than everything on Earth combined.” All-In Podcast, October 31, 2025

A banana in January in New York floods your mitochondria with deuterium. Your body has no tools to handle it. Dr. Laszlo Boros — former professor of pediatrics at the UCLA School of Medicine & pioneer of deutonomics — explains why seasonal & local eating isn't just a dietary preference. It's a fundamental requirement for mitochondrial function. Three independent mechanisms explain why. 1) Sunlight and photon pressure: Tropical fruits are naturally high in deuterium — the heavy isotope of hydrogen that causes ATP synthase nanomotors inside your mitochondria to stutter and break. In equatorial regions, high-intensity red and infrared sunlight penetrates the body and decreases the viscosity of water inside mitochondria — allowing the nanomotors to keep spinning despite the deuterium load. Eat that same banana in a dark New York winter — without the corresponding sunlight — and your mitochondria receive the heavy fuel without the light needed to process it. The nanomotors stall. 2) Microbiome desynchronization: Your gut microbiome is your primary deuterium filter. Here's the mechanism most people miss: Bacteria actively collect deuterium to fuel their own division. They run their nanomotors in reverse — pumping clean protons out while trapping heavy deuterons inside their cells. As they ferment your food, they strip out the deuterium and release deuterium-depleted metabolites — short-chain fatty acids and ketone bodies — back into your gut for clean energy production. The trapped deuterium gets excreted in your stool. But this filtering mechanism only works when your microbiome is adapted to the food you're eating. Bacteria are highly specialized. They only efficiently metabolize a narrow range of substrates. When you eat a consistent local diet — your microbiome develops a stable tailored population that knows exactly how to extract deuterium from those specific local foods. When you introduce an imported tropical fruit in winter — your gut bacteria are caught off guard. They haven't adapted to this foreign substrate. They can't ferment it efficiently. They can't trap the deuterium fast enough. It slips past the gut's mucosal barrier directly into your circulation — and into your mitochondria. 3) Nanomotor stutter and metabolic crowding: Inside your mitochondria are ATP synthase nanomotors — spinning at up to ~9,000 rotations per minute to pump protons and produce energy. A deuteron is twice as large and twice as heavy as a normal proton. When it enters these fast-spinning motors — it acts like a medicine ball thrown into a precision engine. It becomes stuck. The nanomotors stutter and break. The consequence is metabolic crowding. With the motors destroyed, protons can no longer return to the mitochondrial matrix to mix with oxygen and form metabolic water. Complete biological combustion stops. Just like an engine choked with fuel but lacking a working exhaust — your mitochondria can no longer fully burn incoming carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into their natural end products of carbon dioxide and water. The unburned fuel backs up and piles up inside your cells. Your body stores it as visceral fat, excessive glycogen, or abnormal proteins. This is metabolic crowding. And it is the biochemical root of obesity, diabetes, and cancer. Boros: "When you walk into a department store and you see those shiny apples and watermelons from wherever they're from — it's really not your food. First of all, it doesn't grow there, especially not in that season. And when you eat it, you don't have the light exposure, the oxygen partial pressure, and you name it." Eating locally and seasonally isn't a wellness trend. It's what your mitochondria were built for.

Is standing barefoot on the Earth real medicine or pseudoscience? A top MD who has reviewed all the relevant research papers gave me the answer no one wants to hear: The science behind it is basic physics. When your bare skin touches the dirt, electrons flow from the Earth into your body. These electrons neutralize free radicals and instantly reduce the stress and swelling that cause pain in your muscles and joints. For 200,000 years, humans stayed electrically connected to the Earth. Our ancestors wore shoes made of woven plants or animal skins that conducted electricity as soon as the materials became damp from sweat or dew. We only cut ourselves off from the Earth a few hundred years ago when rubber-soled shoes became widespread. From my own anecdotal experience, walking on the beach for one hour per day lowers my inflammation to optimal levels. This helps me achieve a dry, hard, and tan physique that is otherwise unattainable with training, anabolics, and peptides alone. Even when I follow the exact same protocols, my physique looks significantly better and I feel way better when I walk on the beach for one hour each day. The closer scientists look at human cells and physics, the further the deepest answers seem to move away. Researchers are left confused by a universe that grows more complex the more it is studied. This exact mystery forced the doctor to stop being an atheist and start believing in God. He realized that as our microscopes and tools get better, the universe actually looks more complicated – forcing top scientists to admit that a higher power built it. The biggest trap in life is thinking you already know everything. When you look at the world through a rigid lens, you will completely miss the obvious truth sitting right in front of your face.

Harry Markowitz, the Nobel laureate who invented modern portfolio theory: "Every fund from Bridgewater to Citadel runs on one equation I wrote as a 25-year-old grad student. Wall Street pays quants $500K to use it. It's free." the thread above teaches you to build a portfolio the real way, with the mathematics of capital allocation. every line of it traces back to one paper markowitz wrote in 1952. before him, "don't put all your eggs in one basket" was folklore. he turned it into algebra. he proved a portfolio's risk isn't the average of its parts, it's driven by how the parts move together, the covariance. combine assets that don't move in lockstep and you cut risk without giving up return. that is the closest thing to a free lunch in all of finance, and he wrote the exact equation for how much of it you get. that single insight, mean-variance optimization, is the engine under every serious fund on earth. renaissance, bridgewater, citadel, your pension, all of them size risk with markowitz's math. he published it in 1952, won the nobel in 1990, and it sits in every textbook and this free lecture. same story i keep telling: the math that runs the trillion-dollar machine has been public and free for seventy years. here is the part markowitz himself warned about. the equation is only as good as the numbers you feed it, your estimates of return and covariance. feed it garbage and the "optimal" portfolio it hands back is confidently, precisely wrong, and it detonates in the exact crisis it was built to survive. the optimizer is free. estimating the future honestly, and knowing when to distrust your own inputs, is the entire job.

Tim Robbins reveals he went 14 straight days without a single bite of food, lost 25 pounds, and unlocked total mental clarity "I just did a cleanse... one of those master cleanses. I just did 14 days on where you don't eat a thing for 14 days, and it's amazing how great you feel at the end of it." "14 whole days. No food at all?" "No food at all. No... It's lemon juice, cayenne pepper, and maple syrup, and that'll get you through the day. And then every morning you're doing a purge, right? So you're cleaning all the poisons out." "14 days is a long time with no food." "It is." "What was the first thing you ate when it was over?" "You got to ease your way back in. Like clear broth first, then soups, then vegetables... about a week re-entry." "Do you experience mental clarity when you do that?" "Total mental clarity. First three days are tough, but once you get past the third day, your energy level is constant throughout the day and you can work. I play sports with it..." "How do you decide when to do it?" "Usually when you've been a little indulgent and you're not feeling too good... and you put on a little weight." "You must lose a ton of weight doing that. How much have you lost doing 14 days?" "25 pounds. About two a day." "And then your body's running completely on ketones, right? Because your body's running on fat... your mental clarity is just so much better. Everything just runs smooth. Flat energy throughout the day, no crashing after a big meal." "And you sleep less, too. You need less sleep for some reason." "Also, I think it's probably good to give your digestive system a little break, too. Just let it relax."

🔆 The Redox Recipe No More DMs 🙏 Sorry, I can’t do DMs anymore. Every morning I wake up to 9–20 messages. If I answer one by one, I help a few. If I answer here, we all learn. So let’s do this in the open; because sunlight belongs to everyone. I understand everyone’s frustration..believe me, I’ve been there. I spent a full year in the hospital with one of the deadliest Systemic Lupus. Few walk out alive. I lost my kidneys, almost lost my lungs, spinal cord, intestines, and few other organs… The only reason I’m here writing this is because I signed a waiver refusing more “treatment.” I told the doctors I’d rather die at home..and that’s when life began to return. If you’re desperate like I was, you must walk the talk.(today is 14° but with the wind feels 9/10) No supplement, no pill, only what’s truly necessary (like my transplant medication, without which I wouldn’t survive). As ☣️ Pleb Kruse = BTC foundationalist in exile 🟩🔆 said: If your body’s make it, don’t take it.” No doctor can fix what your light environment broke 1. You can’t heal in the same environment that made you sick. If your location is toxic, move. Period 2. 🌞 Sunrise is non-negotiable. Watch it with naked eyes, bare skin, and bare feet on the ground. That’s how your circadian clock resets — your mitochondria’s morning meeting with the heartbeat of the Earth (or God — call it what you want) 🍱 3. Eat the light your environment provides. Minimum 70% seafood, cooked gently to protect DHA. Add oysters, seaweed, and wild fish, those don’t need to be local. The remaining 30% must be local fruits, vegetables, and meats grown under your local sunlight. Foreign food = foreign light code = inflammation and lost redox. 🦶 4. Ground daily. Barefoot on earth, sand, or water (sea, rivers, lakes). Avoid places with underground cables or transformers. You’re not “earthing”..you’re plugging back into Nature’s current. 👚5. Wear natural fibers only. Cotton, linen, wool. They let your body exchange electrons freely. Synthetic fabrics trap static and block your electric field . no bueno 😬 📡6. Escape high-EMF zones. If your home sits near a tower, radar, or airport(like mine) plan your exit. I’ll move in 2 years when our work contract ends. Until then, I sleep in an EMF-shielding bag, wear protective clothing head-to-toe, and spend every vacation in nature(far from cities) Know this: staying long-term will cost you years of life. 🏠7. Inside your home: Unplug what you don’t need. No microwave, no blender, no electric toothbrush, no Wi-Fi (use ethernet cables). At sunset, switch to candles or one dim red/incandescent bulb. No TV, no screens. When the sun sets, so should you. Darkness is your natural melatonin therapy. Sunrise and darkness are the yin and yang of life…,one cannot exist without the other. 🥶8. Cold Thermogenesis (CT). Cold water is your internal light switch. It structures your cellular water, tightens your charge, and rebuilds your semiconductors. Start with cold showers; progress to ice baths. Make light from within. 🫡 9. Respect your temperature environment. If it’s hot ; feel it. If it’s cold; embrace it. Your temperature is the “seconds hand” on Nature’s clock:⏰ Sunlight = hour hand Darkness & magnetism = minute hand Temperature = seconds hand That’s how time is written in biology. 🎯 10. Location, Location. The older we get, the more we need the sun. If you live in high latitudes and don’t embrace cold; move. It’s useless to live in the North wrapped in a down jacket. Cold is not the enemy; it’s the teacher. 🍫11. Carbohydrates. If you live near the equator, you can eat them ..sunlight will handle the deuterium load. But if you live in higher latitudes (4 seasons), carbs are only for summer and must be local. Winter means carnivore mode; that’s Nature telling you to “hibernate.” Humans are walking bears ..we don’t sleep all winter, but we must create light inside through DHA and cold. Start with these few steps, and your new life will unfold.. REDOX ARE 🔑

⚡ Why Grounding in Cities Can Be Dangerous The first video is mine, showing a passage from The Invisible Rainbow. The second is Dr. Jack Kruse confirming the danger. Now, let’s unpack why. Normally, the Earth carries a natural DC (direct current) field of about 100 volts per meter; a calm, steady flow aligned with the Schumann resonance (~7.8 Hz). 🌎 Think of the Schumann resonance as the heartbeat of the Earth, and the brain as its twin👯‍♂️ two tuning forks vibrating in sync. When the planet’s rhythm(heartbeat) hums, our brain picks up that signal. Two oscillators, one cosmic, one human… syncing through the invisible song of Nature. 🦶🏼 When we touch the ground in nature, our brain hears the Earth’s rhythm and starts to dance to the same beat. (Like me when I hear samba 🥁 hips don’t ask, they just file for full custody of my body 👀) The Earth’s electrical field is a smooth, low-voltage DC current that flows gently from the ionosphere to the ground. This current is pure, rhythmic, and coherent 😌 it feeds electrons into our body and keeps our mitochondria charged and calm. 👹But in Cities, the Earth Is No Longer Clean Modern infrastructure like: telegraph/phones lines, power grids, subways, Wi-Fi networks, and cell towers… leak dirty currents (stray voltages) into the soil. The ground has become a giant mixed-frequency soup, polluted with man-made electrical noise. So when we ground barefoot or through a “grounded” outlet in the city: We’re not grounding to the Earth, instead we’re grounding to the grid. That grid pulses with alternating current (AC), radio frequencies (RF), and harmonics that scramble our internal DC biology. ⚠️ What Happens to Our Body Our skin and mitochondria act like antennas. When the ground is electrified, it injects noise instead of electrons. That noise confuses cellular signaling, raises oxidative stress, and breaks circadian timing. Some people feel tingling or fatigue; others feel nothing; but their redox potential slowly drains, like a battery losing charge overnight. It is like: an alien 👽 to our biology. It parachutes in, kicks the cell door down, raids the ATP pantry like a drunk raccoon, and forces the nucleus to paint like Picasso on 1000s espressos and few line of cocainecola. 😵‍💫 End result: one chaotic biological crime scene… labeled ‘abstract art’..🧨…💥 Grounding in the wrong place = becoming part of the electrical circuit of the city(👽) We turned our cities into wired prisons, breaking the bio-circuit that once grounded life itself. The cables under our feet now hum louder than Earth’s heartbeat. So instead of syncing with Nature’s song, we tune into an alien beat… EMF, RF, and digital noise. When Grounding Is Safe?🧐 Safe grounding requires the Earth’s natural current, not the interference of modern grids. Like: Ocean shores 🏖️ Rivers and lakes 🏞️ Forests and mountains 🌲⛰️ 😣 My reality: two more years trapped here… power lines above me, Wi-Fi around me, and pigeon poop under me. But soon… Norway awaits. From the fire (the city) to the frying pan (the Arctic chill). At least I’ll freeze in peace…

🧬 Why does ☣️ Pleb Kruse = BTC foundationalist in exile 🟩🔆 say “Food doesn’t matter”? Imagine a solar-powered battery: Sunlight charges the battery. Water holds the charge. Magnetism organizes the charge. The battery powers the engine. The engine burns the fuel. Food is a fuel. If the battery is empty or the wiring is broken, the engine cannot burn the fuel correctly. Changing the fuel will not fix the battery. Fix the battery first, then any fuel can be used. 🤔 Understanding 🔥 1. The ENGINE comes before the FUEL If the mitochondrial engine is not working, the fuel doesn’t matter. Why? Because in our modern world, we are trying to fix a physics problem with food ideology. It will never work. Mitochondria are the engine that burns the fuel. If the engine is damaged, all fuels become incomplete, misinterpreted, or even toxic. 👎🏻Most people today have engines damaged by: blue light EMFs indoor living poor redox lack of DHA no morning sunlight circadian mismatch ❌When the engine is broken, these things happen: electrons cannot move efficiently ATP production slows inflammation rises ROS becomes uncontrolled hormones lose coherence fasting becomes stressful diets fail again and again Food does not fix any of this. ☀️ 2. LIGHT controls metabolism more deeply than any diet ever could Jack’s central point for 15 years: “Food is seasonal information. Light is the master instruction.” Morning sunlight programs: dopamine cortisol melatonin leptin mitochondrial timing thyroid signaling This means two people on the same diet can have completely different results depending on their light environment. Example: Someone living indoors under LEDs with low redox tries carnivore. They struggle. Someone living by the ocean with daily sunrise exposure builds strong redox. Carnivore works for them Keto works Carbs work seasonally Fasting works The diet didn’t change. The redox did. Diet is just light in disguise. 🌊 3. Mitochondria run on ELECTRONS, not on food quantity Jack always says: “You don’t need more supplements. You need more electrons.” Food is only an electron donor. But electrons only work when the biology is prepared to receive them in the same environment nature designed. The key factors that prepare the system are: DHA in cell membranes structured water created by sunlight a magnetic field that aligns proton flow circadian signals that control timing cold exposure that increases electron efficiency minimal blue light at night When these conditions are damaged: Electrons get stuck. Energy drops. Inflammation rises. Hormones lose rhythm. Detoxification breaks. Again: diet never fixes the foundation. 🧠 4. Why diet “gurus” are always fighting, and always missing the point. Carnivore gurus… Low-carb communities… Metabolic bros… Vegan influencers… Mediterranean… All of them fight about the fuel while ignoring the engine. It’s like watching the mechanics scream about gasoline quality while the engine has: no oil no spark plugs a dead battery Jack’s message is brutally simple: “Fix the mitochondrial environment first, and most diets will begin to work.” Without fixing the environment, no diet can save you. 🐟 5. Why DHA is the diet Kruse actually cares about. DHA is the molecule that lets sunlight become a direct electrical current inside your cell membranes. DHA is the antenna. If the antenna is broken, the light signal becomes distorted. Every metabolic pathway fails. This is why: “A vegan in Norway is committing mitochondrial suicide.” “Food is a distraction. Sunlight is the real nutrient.” DHA + sunlight is the diet nature designed for humans. DHA is an antenna. And an antenna is useless without the signal. 🔥 Remember Your mitochondrial redox decides your fate; not your diet. Your light environment writes the rules for your metabolism. Your DHA status determines how well you can read the rules. This is why all food fights are meaningless 🤭 The mitochondria decide everything long before the fork ever reaches your mouth.

Grounding can significantly reduce, if not eliminate, jet lag in 15–30 minutes. The earth's electric field varies by location, time of day, season, and lunar position. The body is designed to read these variations. They function as a zeitgeber — a biological clock-setter — processed in the brain's master clock: the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the hypothalamus. Clint Ober — former cable television executive who pioneered the global "earthing" or "grounding" movement — discovered this accidentally during a cortisol study. He measured salivary cortisol every 4 hours for 24 hours in 12 subjects before and after one month of sleeping grounded. Flight attendants in the study commuting between San Diego and New York arrived with cortisol profiles 3 hours off. After 15 minutes barefoot on the ground — cortisol profile reset to local time. Jet lag gone. Dr. James Oschman — biophysicist and cellular biologist — saw this firsthand. A colleague arrived from the West Coast with a bad case of jet lag. He told her to take off her shoes and stand on the grass for 15 minutes. She came back completely transformed. Jet lag gone. Ober's explanation: "The rhythms of the earth reset your circadian profile as soon as you touch the earth." Dr. Gaétan Chevalier — biophysicist and lead researcher at the Earthing Institute, 20+ peer-reviewed studies on grounding — confirmed independently. Multiple reports from people grounding on arrival after long-haul flights. No jet lag. Consistent across locations and time zones. The body picks up the frequency signature of local time and resets its internal clock. The earth's negative charge is stronger during daylight hours when the sun is shining. Weaker at night. Different by location. Different by season. Electrons carry location-specific vibrational frequency. The body is designed to read this. Your circadian system didn't evolve reading light alone. It evolved reading the earth too.
