How do you play the uphill lie? There are actually a couple of ways you can do this. You can go with or against the slope! 1: With the slope (great for longer clubs as they’re generally shallower into contact) - Ball position, normal or even slightly further forward - ⁠ spine angle, approximately perpendicular to the slope - ⁠ The ball will go really high so club up 2: Against the slope (I like this better for shorter irons as the swing is steeper and we’re looking for solid contact just like Karol) - ball position further back - ⁠ Lean on front leg - ⁠ The through swing will probably be more of a punch style because of the slope Which one would you do? He says he originally tested the ball two years ago and made the decision to play it because it's the ball he thought he could get the most out of. "I don't think any of us are out really here playing the ball that goes the farthest. I think you'd struggle to find a single person that's doing that. We're all sacrificing a certain amount of things that we feel are worth it, control with irons, control with wedges.
