Eddie Murphy reveals he was offered the role Chris Tucker played in Rush Hour Speedy: “Is it true that you were once offered the role Chris Tucker played in Rush Hour?” Eddie Murphy: “Yes” “Did I say Holy Man is one of my worst movies? That's the movie I did instead of Rush Hour. They came to me and it was two scripts. It was Rush Hour and it's gonna be an action comedy with Jackie Chan... and this other one was me in a robe in Miami” “I was like, ‘Man…This is a no-brainer.’ We went to Miami and made a horrendous film”

Rush Hour 2 isn’t just the best sequel ever. It’s the last time Hollywood made two completely different cultures hilarious together without a single lecture. Chris Tucker & Jackie Chan carried the 2000s on their backs. Modern comedies could never. 🔥 🎬🎥 Rush Hour 2❤️🔥
