@Plesac19 I'm with Greg on this one. I'm sorry but a miniscule "flinch" is not "deceiving the runner"....what does deceive a runner is when a lefty starts his pitch and then steps towards the runner. That is what I believe should start being called a balk. Not this other junk.

@Plesac19 I feel like physiologically you have to load the front leg to pick up the back leg, the left soleus likely is the first muscle to stabilize the movement, then up the chain on the left leg to allow the right foot to step back.

@Plesac19 You are allowed to step off the Mound, Teoscar was already running probably using the Pitch Clock as reference when to run. So nowhere near a Balk! Pitcher's leg never buckled towards the batter he stepped off before throwing to 1st.
