James Gunn made Yondu's Yaka Arrow so disgustingly overpowered that Marvel literally had to remove him from the universe before he broke the scaling of Endgame.📺📺 Think about it: this single weapon pierces alien armor like wet paper, moves faster than a bullet, changes trajectory mid-air on command, and...

That hallway scene is still ridiculous. Coolest weapon in the MCU, no contest — they just couldn’t let him walk into Endgame with that thing.

That arrow was seriously broken. Yondu could clear a whole room before anyone even realized what was happening. One of the coolest weapons in the MCU, no question.

Honestly, the Yaka Arrow was basically a cheat code. Yondu didn’t need an army just one whistle and the whole hallway was finished. Absolute badass weapon

Yondu really pulled up with a weapon that basically said “skill issue” 😭😂 The Yaka Arrow was ridiculously OP, but honestly… watching him control that thing was ALWAYS satisfying. 🔥🏹

Yondu didn’t get written out because the arrow would break Endgame. He got written out because Gunn wanted that “I’m your daddy” death to land. The MCU already had Stormbreaker, Wanda, and the Stones. One whistling arrow wasn’t the scaling problem.

Yondu’s arrow was basically a guided missile with attitude 😂🏹. The fact that he could clear an entire room without even touching the weapon is insane. OP or not, that hallway scene is still one of the coldest weapon showcases in the MCU.

They didn’t kill Yondu because the arrow broke Endgame. They killed him because a character that good at violence had already said everything he needed to say

If it is guided by his whistling, then How does it work when he is viewing video screens and the arrow is out of range from hearing the sound?

This version is significantly enhanced, but in the comics you have to use a bow to shoot it, the arrow can't go very far, it cannot increase speed and its force is equal to that of a normal arrow shot. But this one with the neural implant is really cool

Its overpower if the caster is alive. The arrow depends on another piece, the head crest. In GotG 2 he got nerfed bc tasserface ripped his headpiece before, so he sent groot to retrieve the longer one. In GotG3, gunn is using the crest to practice with the arrow.

The Yaka Arrow was basically a cheat code. Yondu could clear an entire hallway before most opponents even realized what was happening. Coolest weapon in the MCU or completely broken? I’m leaning both.

The Yaka Arrow is still the coolest MCU weapon because it wasn’t just powerful it had personality. A whistle controlled death needle that turns a hallway into a slaughterhouse is peak Gunn energy.

The Yaka Arrow originated as a traditional hunting tool made of sound-sensitive Yaka metal on the planet Centauri IV. Yondu learned to control its trajectory through precise whistling vocalizations perfected through years of Centaurian cultural training. It definitely isn't game-breaking. It’s the ultimate glass-cannon weapon, since Yondu is completely vulnerable while directing the arrow and can be easily disarmed or ambushed at close range by anyone with high durability or speed. That delicate balance of absurd offensive lethality paired with obvious physical limitations is precisely what makes it one of the coolest, most terrifyingly iconic weapons Marvel ever designed. I don’t think Marvel killed off Yondu because they were in a Yaka Arrow pickle. Gunn @JamesGunn did it to demonstrate one of the most memorable, Christus Victor scenes of self-sacrifice second only to Tony’s sacrifice in Endgame. Gunn juxtaposed Ego and Yondu to illustrate that true fatherhood isn't defined by shared biology or grandiose perfection, but by selfless love and the willingness to sacrifice everything for his son. “Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life…”

Combat correspondent Michael Yon: "[The Covid jabs are] clearly... a deployment... of a weapon of mass destruction... [But] Trump is still pushing it. [And people with] TDS are [those] that still support Trump in 2026... That is the power of mind control, and there is zero they will not do, and I mean zero." This clip of Yon (Michael Yon: Callsign BIG HONEY), who is also a photographer and author, is taken from a conversation with Liz Gunn (Liz Gunn) and Masako Ganaha (我那覇真子 Masako Ganaha) posted to the FreeNZ (FreeNZ) Rumble channel on January 11, 2026. ----------------Partial transcription of clip--------------- "It's clearly a weapon. They're showing one of several things, or potentially an overlap. But one would be either they just haven't researched it enough, or they're actually part of it, actually, because that was why they're using the wrong word. Or potentially they're a coward, because they're afraid to use the right word. That's actually cowardice. "And keep in mind, words are the atomic structures of truth and lies. So if you pick the wrong word from the beginning, all the rest of what you're talking about is irrelevant because you're talking about— You started with the wrong word. It's like, you know, started to try to make water out of, instead of using H2O, instead of using hydrogen and oxygen, used, lithium and sulfur or something, you know, it's just not going to work well. Well, you know, it's like, yeah, but. No, but this is water. You know, it's like, actually, it's just not, you know, and if you're talking about this as a vaccine or migration, when it's clearly an invasion, clearly weaponized migration at minimum. "But it's been being used. Used as a weapon in war, since it's being used as a weapon in war, remember, I mean, this flashlight is a weapon if you hit somebody with it. So what is a weapon? A weapon is something that you use as a weapon. And there are some things that are designed to be meant to be used as a weapon. This is meant to be used as a light. "But what is a weapon? I mean, if you end up in a courtroom because of a use of a weapon, then they're going to say, yeah, that, that, that spoon was a weapon, you know, but, but, but some are actually designed as WMD. And clearly this was a deployment and employment of a weapon of mass destruction. And Trump is still pushing it. He's still pushing it. "In his cult, keep in mind the highest, they've got severe. There's a lot of severe TDS going on. They call it Trump Derangement syndrome. That's— The TDS are the people that still support Trump in 2026. Despite that, he still put— Mary Bowden, she just said on an interview a couple days ago that. I thought she said 5.5 million children took it again last year, but it might have been 5.8. But anyway, over 5 million. "That much is clear, that Dr. Bowden said more than 5 million children have taken the jab just in the last year. Right. So if her numbers are accurate, even if it's 10 children. I mean, he's still not backing off of it. He's clearly using the weapon to destroy the United States. And so never underestimate the power of information, war and psychological operations specifically. There's people who literally, they have dead family members and they're sick and they still support the guy who's doing it. That is the power of mind control. It is absolutely severe. People with that level of mind control, there is absolutely zero they will not do, and I mean zero."

Yes, Ricky was surely the culprit. But only in pushing the button. HE DID NOT HAVE ANY PALM PISTOL IN HIS HAND ! > 1. Nothing is visible between the fingers, but the shadow on the frames 0, or +1 ; > 2. Cutler's hand is half way open, with all fingers positioned forward. Nothing can be held in the open hand position like that. Especially when the hand is in motion. If anything was in that hand, it would simply fall out ; > 3. Most certainly, no weapon can be aimed at the target in this kind of open hand position, even if something could have been in it. Any weapon has to be held with a firm grip, for it to be aimed properly. Any suggesting that a weapon can be aimed form such a completely open hand position is utterly laughable ; > 4. No squeezing action in the hand is visible at all. All fingers remain perfectly stationary ; > > > 5. NO RECOIL action on the hand whatsoever ! Anyone who knows anything about the basic laws of physics, would know that no weapon is ever fired without a recoil action. Even the knowledge of the laws of physics is not required for this understanding. Just the basic common sense should be sufficient. Any one of the points above mentioned makes this palm pistol option impossible. Let alone all of them at the same time. And this evidence is with regards to the hand only. If I were to make the whole list of evidence against the palm pistol, aside of the actual hand itself, it would probably be 30-40 items long. So, I will skip that pages long extended part. I hope that just the above stated is sufficient enough ? But the full length video, with all the frames, each frame by frame examination is coming right up.

Elon Musk was offered the chance to have his own product destroyed on camera, unscripted, and he took it in under a second. Musk: "Fuck yeah, let's do it." Then they walked out to the garage. Rogan drew an 80 pound bow on the side of a Cybertruck, cameras still running. A 545 grain arrow at roughly 275 feet per second into cold rolled stainless. Sparks off the panel. The broadhead flattened. The arrow blew apart. Rogan: "Barely scratched it." That panel is the same steel he picked for Starship after walking away from carbon fiber. A man builds a rocket, wraps a truck in it, then hands you a weapon and stands there. There's no paint on it. No clear coat, no filler, nothing between you and the material. That stainless is structure, not decoration. Nobody offers up their own product like that unless it has already been tested where nobody was watching. Most people saw a stunt. What they watched was a man putting a claim in front of physics, which has no opinion of him and could have humiliated him live. Almost nothing else works that way now. We have built an entire civilization out of statements that can never be checked. Decks, dashboards, mission statements, narratives engineered so that no single moment can ever prove them wrong. An unfalsifiable claim isn't a lie. Lies can be caught. This is a shape that looks like a claim and never has to meet anything. The supply of those just went vertical. Words cost nothing to produce now, at infinite volume, by machine. Anything in infinite supply prices to zero. So what still has a bid. Only what survived contact with something indifferent to it. Steel that got hit. Code that shipped. A number audited by reality instead of by a slide. Nothing indifferent to you has ever lied to you. Only the things that want something from you can. Trust has never been anything but exposure to failure, witnessed. Every bridge you've driven over was somebody agreeing to be wrong in public. Every engine, every vaccine, every building still standing. The entire inherited world was built by people who could have been destroyed in front of everyone and stood there anyway. Most of us have quietly optimized ourselves in the other direction. A resume nobody audits. A persona with no failure mode. A version of yourself that only exists where it can't be tested. That isn't a character flaw. It's what the last twenty years paid for. The payout schedule just changed. Proof is about to be the scarcest asset in the economy, and the one thing that can't be generated. It has to be earned once, in contact with something that doesn't care. Nobody controls access to that. You don't need scale or permission. You need one true thing you'd stand beside while somebody takes a shot at it. He stood there and let the arrow come. The arrow came apart. Everything made only of words does.

Sigourney Weaver on what she loved about her character in "Alien" (1979): "Interviewer: Ripley is now seen as this feminist action hero. Did you think about that or the politics of your representation at the time? Weaver: What I loved about Ripley in the first one, thanks to [producers] Walter [Hill] and David [Giler], and in the second one, thanks to Jim Cameron, was that I didn't really feel like a badass heroine ever. What I felt was like you or me in this situation, [wondering] what the f**k you were going to do. It was an everyman character that could be any of us. That was very unusual at the time that a character, a woman character, went through a whole film, doing difficult things by herself, a lot of the time, and didn't have some scene where she bursts into tears and cries in a corner for a while. Because I'm telling you, in those days, they really wanted women to be sympathetic. And that meant that either you had to be in a little skirt and run around, or you had to have these scenes where you cried and broke down because they thought if you didn't that you would seem unfeminine. So I was so lucky that I avoided all of that because I was doing science fiction, because I was in the future. And I was just playing this character who was put in this situation. And it was written like a man. It wasn't written like the way they wrote women in those days." ("At 28, Sigourney Weaver Was Thrust Into An Alien World", Zosha Millman, Bustle, 2021) P.S: On this day, 47 years ago, "Alien" (1979) had its limited release in the USA.
