Because President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud refused to listen to Somalis, abide by his constitutional mandate, and respect the country’s agreed political settlement, the international community is now telling him to stop acting recklessly. They also state that these countries will serve as observers. The second video, released by the U.S. Embassy, features the senior U.S. general responsible for the Horn of Africa, who speaks about the consequences of ignoring political problems. Africans must learn to fix their own countries and fight their own governments to instill order in Africa and protect their wealth so that the old and disabled people can get grants as well in their countries. Our old and disabled people never ran to African countries to be a burden or to seek refuge during the apartheid era even when they were faced with death. They all remained behind and fought for freedom except for a few political figures that went to exile. We have no sympathy for cowards that run away from challenges.
