Eight years prior to his acting career, Jason Statham was a professional diver. His love for diving led him to represent England at the 1990 Commonwealth Games held in Auckland, New Zealand. Commonwealth Games. During the 1990 CWG, Statham participated in three diving events: *1-meter springboard: He secured the eighth position. *3-meter springboard: He finished in the eleventh place. *10-meter platform: His performance landed him in the tenth spot. Statham even participated in the Olympic trials for the 1988 Seoul Summer Games and the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Unfortunately, he narrowly missed making it to the main event.
