Did he have less time or take less time? Isn’t one of his knocks that he’s a one read QB? Seems like it would take less time if you’re not going through progression.

I think you bring up a really valid point and I believe it’s absolutely a combination of both.

He plays in a veer and shoot offense so naturally his ADOT, BTTR, and YPA are going to be higher than Ward and Sanders. Just putting that out there

He’s a better prospect than Shedeur. I’ve been saying it for months. Shedeur is a great pocket passer and has good accuracy but he has nowhere near the upside Dart has. Better downfield passer, better improviser, tight window throws. All of it better than Sanders.

lol note that one of these qbs had a line that was ranked 130 in pressures allowed but yet had the best completion percentage and also had a non existent running game? NFL GMs and scouts definitely take account to that

I’m not even a fan of his, but he did that in the SEC, not the Big12 or ACC - where defense doesn’t exist

Giants/Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart Deep Passing 2024 (20+ Yards from LOS) Total 22.6% Throw Rate 38/90 42.2% 1550 yards 119.2 YPG 17 TD 4 INT SEC (8 Games) 24.1% Throw Rate 18/59 30.5% 734 yards 91.7 YPG 6 TD 3 INT Non-Conference (5 Games) 20.1% Throw Rate 20/31 64.5% 816 yards 163.2 YPG 11 TD 1 INT Kept my thoughts out of the individual posts but will give some here. He is aggressive. Really aggressive. His attempt rate would have been the highest in the NFL by almost 4%. I think that number being higher v. SEC opponents is a product of less easy throw but him being more comfortable throwing vertical than trusting spacing. That's what you want to work with a young QB. I also think the decision making was good on the majority of misses (outside of Florida/LSU) but he was just innacuarate. The innaccuracy worries me against the SEC. The All-22 shows this better but it would consistently putter out around 50 yards and fall short & inside too often. Fades away from too many throws which leads to this but he doesn't lack arm talent, just elite arm talent that allows you to play how he does consistently. You see against the bad teams how good it can be when he's comfortable. Gotta be able to do it uncomortable spots in the NFL to be successful. Here's how his deep completion rate would rank in the NFL in 2024 (42 QB's): Total: 42.2% (9th) SEC: 30.5% (34th) Non-Conf: 64.5% (1st) Ultimately, Dart needs to learn quick game, protections, get more comfortable going through progressions and seeing things post snap but we all like the aggression and it has to be a big part of why he was Brian Daboll's guy. Get better at it and let's win some damn games! Every single pass:

Shedeur Sanders is a Top QB in this draft, a difference maker and a LEADER. What Deion Sanders accomplished together with his Sons should be APPLAUDED not picked apart and used against them. They went to Jackson State together and turned that program around. They went to Colorado together and turned that program around. Deion didn’t do it with kid gloves on either. When Sheduer needed to play better, he voiced it for the team to see and hear. When Shilo played bad and Deion was asked about it, he called it out in front of the world and guess what? Shilo responded by getting better. Completely changed their season. If you wonder if Shedeur can be coached by anyone other than his Dad, just know that Shedeur Sanders had 6 different offensive coordinators in 4 years of College Football. Not only can he be coached by someone else, he showed growth and development EVERY YEAR he played despite having a new system and new play caller. If you are trying to diminish what these young men have accomplished. Stop it. If you are trying to question if they can be coached, stop it. Their father helped put them in position to be successful and they have had NFL coaching since they were 8 years old. They are tough. They have been coached hard. They have earned it. Isn’t what Deion Sanders did for his kids exactly what a father is supposed to? So why are people hating on it? They shouldn’t. What Deion Sanders has done for Shedeur Sanders, Shilo Sanders, Deion Sanders Jr., Deiondra and Shelomi Sandrers isn’t just a Black Fatherhood success story, but a Fatherhood success story. We should celebrate it. #Outtapocket #RG3
