Mike Kafka talks about what he saw on Jameis Winston's late interception as he tried to connect with Jalin Hyatt: "It was a flag route right there. I think there was a little bit of miscommunication there. I know Jalin was feeling hurt after the game just about the result of that and you never want to see the game end like that for us. But our guys battled. I thought Jameis played aggressive, I thought Jalin had some nice plays in terms of stepping up and making a couple catches. Our guys battled all the way through, so I was proud of them for that, just didn't get the end result."

Close to midnight there was an emergency in Hotel Hyatt Regency in Chennai. Due to an electric fire on the 9th floor, the entire hotel became smoky and everyone had to evacuate the hotel before it became difficult to breathe. All the players of Chennai Grand Masters in the Masters and Challengers section were staying in this hotel. For a few minutes everyone was confused, but when it became clear that it would take more than a few hours for smoke to clear, the organizers did two things: 1. Postponed round 1 from 6th to 7th of August 2025. This was made possible as the tournament had a rest day on 11th of August before. Now there will be no rest day. 2. All the players and officials were given a room in Hotel Pullman for the night. The players will return back to Hyatt Regency in the morning on 6th of August.

Well, another one run loss, 7-6 to Southern Miss on the road after an 8-7 loss to UCLA on Sunday. You're in it each time, and just can't push it through. What else can you say? To their credit, Southern Miss jumped on Mississippi State early in the game, like they did last year in a 3-0 win. But, to their credit, Mississippi State came back and took a lead. It was back and forth, but in the end... Here are Coach Brian O' Connor's postgame comments. We are not posting any player comments tonight, though. Screw your “Optimal Preparation Routine” In late 2022 Jacob Degrom was coming off a shoulder injury that kept him off the mound for 4 months. Seeing that his first start of the year would come less than 20 miles from where I lived, I made the split decision to go see Degoat in person I got to the park two hours before game time Hoping to catch a glimpse of some magical pregame preparation from one of the best in the game As I sat just behind the catcher near the bullpen. I watched every move from the time Jacob walked out of the dugout to his first pitch on the game mound. And what did I find??? NOTHING I mean the guys warm up was one of the most basic, vanilla warm ups I’d ever seen!!! Regimented? Sure. He made his first throw exactly 20 minutes before game time. 6:45. Right on the dot. Was watching the clock and AS SOON as it hit 6:45, he turned to the catcher and made his first throw No weighted balls. No bands. No sprints Looked like a standard high school warm up. “Few jogs, few of theeese, few of theeese….” Some light stretching and catch play was all he needed before promptly going to the game mound and hitting 101 on his third pitch. Does this mean that Degrom is a freak? Well, yes. But it also shows how irrelevant a specific prep routine can be for a large majority of players Jacob found what works for him and he stuck to it I encourage you to do the same. Having a mapped out plan for how you want to attack an outing is crucial, but the contents of that routine can vary based on the individual. If you need more prep, more CNS activation, more mobility before your outing to perform your best, so be it! If you HATE long periods of thought and careful planning before you throw, maybe tossing a football around for your “weighted ball routine” could be a better option Just some thoughts. Every snap that Austin Booker was in on in the first half... Every snap but 4 of them. He was out on the first two of the third defensive series and the last two of the last (5th) defensive series. - Long Arm is noticeable - Nice Bend and constant effort - Likes to incidentally hit the QB 🤣 - The comparisons to Maxx Crosby should be taken seriously. He looks just like a young and unrefined Crosby - That "Twitchy explosiveness is real. - He's going to get more mass and muscular too and his best years are ahead of him when he does, but this experience is HUGE. - Little gassed before they took him out of the last drive, but his motor stays constant. - Second Half was even better than the first half 😲 - Led the team with 5 Pressures and 13.5% win rate while playing 84% of snaps Solid, SOLID, outing for Austin Booker I'm buying every bit of his stock you can buy. Indian man and his kid try squatting at the DFW Airport Hyatt. He racks up a $1600 bill he can't pay. Barefoot in pink shorts, arms crossed, tells the cops they're being rude for not giving him 3-4 hours to freshen up. Hotel wants him out. He gets trespassed. This occured in 2024 and is the energy North Texas is dealing with not only at our airport but everywhere. This ain't your resort. Pay up or get out.

Yeah, I know AJ Brown is open. So is DeVonta Smith. So why does Jalen Hurts make the harder throw to Smith? There are a few reasons: - Since it isn't press coverage, Hurts anticipates pre-snap that the CB on Brown will go over the top instead of just running into the traffic. He doesn't, but he should have which would have made the throw muddier. Not to mention that Carolina not massively cheating their MOF safety and hole defender to the AJ Brown/DeVonta Smith side is also questionable at best. - His footwork on the drop doesn't really allow him to make the AJ Brown throw. You could argue (and you would probably be right) that he should take a 1 step and check the Brown route before going to the Smith route, but that isn't what happens. Hurts goes through the correct pre-snap process and makes a nice throw for the TD, but I would like to see the dropback keep both routes in play next time.

Ahead of the event, he said he builds his schedule around what best prepares him for the majors and it may change year to year: “Everybody's different. Therefore, I don't play San Antonio. I had a year where the PGA, when it was at Southern Hills I wanted to play the week before Byron Nelson, it's easy travel, and I played the week before. This man and a supposed pregnant woman and a little girl of like 5yrs old came to lodge yesterday. So this morning when everyone got busy, the woman jump the fence which link to the event center and carried the TV place at the view center of the hotel, so this man and the little children walk through the main door and gather. According to him, the woman throw the TV to him through the fence and was successful in the act until a man in the neighborhood saw him and challenge him but so he could escape the man he begiyto run and walk fast but unfortunately for him the small girl delay him and that's how the neighborhood gather and run after him before he could get the next available bike or Keke. They brought him back to the hotel and guys were ready to actually k!ll him but for the angwa elder they were not give the chance to perform their enterprise, he denied at first but when beating hit him he said they should forgive him that he has fvcked up that his intentions is to is to sell the TV and use it to feed his family. Surprising he has a phone, power bank and even paid for the lodge so you will know he was lying and he has been in the business for long, the woman after seeing what happened escape from where she was hiding. Police came and they charge him to court according to the man that follows them but the court send them back because of the little girl that where and who will take care of her, so they are on the pick to catch the woman as I told now.. For hotel owners and individual, this is a tactics they use now, let's all the wise and be sensitive to our environment. If you see any new face in your area, challenge them.. //TW - harmful words/hate speech ⚠️ Why be willing to throw the game + make everyone on the team just upset at you? I've had this guy twice now and for some reason he remembered me from the first time. 1st time we got into the same team, he immediately says "conduit if you don't have a 4k badge I'm throwing" ....and proceeded to throw the game (by ratting/jumping off cliffs - we ressed him continuously) This video is the 2nd time I've ran into him. Not sure but my other teammate (from another game) said he was an aspiring T2/CC Player as well? He isn't a bad...player...but we could have clearly done better if he just played with us. I don't know him and I hope I don't get him again in higher ranks. But there's a reason he's alone right now solo-queuing Friends who have similar solo q experiences...I feel for you..it is so frustrating to deal with people like this. Probably rare I'd do this type of video/rant but just absolutely amazed at the lengths this miserable person went to spread his misery.

Here Abdul Carter defends his public trashing of his teammate, Jaxson Dart, and causing a national ruckus on social media. As a lifelong New York Giants fan, I'm disgusted by Abdul Carter. Carter, on social media, called out his teammate Jaxson Dart, the NY Giants QB, for having the temerity to introduce the President of the United States at an event in New York. The content of Dart's introduction was innocuous, and non partisan. Here's what Carter says: "Some things are bigger than football, and this is one of those things. Jaxson is one of our leaders - he's the face of our franchise. He represents himself and what he does, and he represents all of us. If he chooses to align himself with a man like President Trump, it's my responsibility based on what I believe and what I stand on to not only show my teammates that I'm against that, but to show the world." And exactly why does Carter think he has a moral duty to trash his teammate to the world over a difference in political outlook? But here's the thing. Carter says he idolizes Giants great Lawrence Taylor, who is an outspoken supporter of President Trump, who actively campaigned for President Trump. So doesn't Carter have any problem with Lawrence Taylor? He was benched for the start of one game as punishment for missing a team meeting in favor of napping. Carter did not appear to be putting in full effort in practices or in games. He was an entitled bellyacher and a complainer his entire rookie year. Meanwhile, Jaxson Dart over-performed expectations for his rookie year. He was also drafted in the first round, though lower than Carter. Dart is widely considered a rising star at QB. He played in 12 games, passed for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdown passes against just 5 interceptions. He also rushed for 487 yards and had 9 rushing touchdowns. He was named Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. So Dart had a much better rookie season (by miles) than Abdul Carter, who was advertised as possibly the next Lawrence Taylor. Not only is Carter no Lawrence Taylor, he should not even have been drafted in the first round based on his rookie year performance. Dart is a player the Giants can build a team around. And he's a great kid any parent would be proud of. By contrast, Carter beat up a tow truck driver in 2024. Carter was enraged that his car was being towed because it was illegally parked. When he saw his car was being towed, he grabbed the tow truck driver, hauled him out of his tow truck, smashed him onto the pavement and broke his ribs. When invited to introduce the President of the United States, almost anyone would be thrilled to do it. That's what Dart did. If I were invited to introduce Barack Obama at an event (for some weird reason), I would be honored to do it -- even though I think Obama was a horrible President. And I would think of something nice to say -- because that's what you do if you have manners. That's what Jaxson Dart did. He certainly does support President Trump, as do most NFL players and 90% of NFL QBs. But Dart said nothing remotely controversial or even partisan in his introduction. I believe the Giants should trade Abdul Carter for whoever they can get. He is a toxic and divisive force in the locker room. The New York Giants do not need a Colin Kaepernick on the team.

This man was on a long flight in Asia. He always sets up a camera to do a time lapse for his social media. He claims to have caught one of the flight attendants going through his bag and stealing his bank card and other belongings. The flight attendant denies it, but something about their demeanor seems off. They refuse to call the police, but instead they are telling him they will have customer relations contact him instead. Could it be the flight attendant does this often and they are covering up for him?
