Yes, Clapton loves his major and minor pentatonics, but he can do them so well. Jeff can play anything and in his own unique way. Jeff even did a rockabilly album covering Gene Vincent tunes.

I was never a fan of Becks. To over the top for my taste. Clapton’s more traditional style of blues works for my ear.

I’m a Clapton guy, but Beck can out muscle anyone on stage. Clapton wasn’t warmed up. And a Fender combo amp is gonna get blown off the stage by Jeff’s two Marshalls.

Oh, and props to Tal Wilkenfeld, keeping it cool, while having to lay down the low stuff for two legends, simultaneously.
