Bukayo Saka admits he’s been gambling with his fitness throughout last season and will continue to do so: “I think when you have that success and you taste it, you want to do it again. It can go two ways, but when I speak for myself, I'd say it's definitely made me want to do it again and come into this tournament with even more hunger.” Alex Howell: “Your fitness, how has that been? Has that been frustrating for you, maybe people watching, not knowing what you're pushing yourself to do? And have you had to learn more about yourself, how to play, when maybe you're not 100%?” Saka: “Yeah, but I think as players, you know, It's the biggest gamble, especially if you're not feeling your sharpest, you have the choice whether you don't play or you put yourself out there knowing that people are going to judge you the same. “And at the end of the day, people don't really care how you're feeling. They expect you to deliver, they expect you to perform. And yeah, I'm happy to take that gamble and it paid off, I'd say. And I'm going to continue doing that. But like I said, I'm feeling a lot better than I did in March and I'm ready to go.”

Ezra Klein: "Having AI summarize a book or paper for me is a disaster. It has no idea what I really wanted to know and wouldn't have made the connections I would've made. I'm interested in the thing I will see that other people wouldn't have seen, and I think AI typically sees what everybody else would see. I'm not saying that AI can't be useful, but I'm pretty against shortcuts. And obviously, you have to limit the amount of work you're doing. You can't read literally everything. Mark Zuckerberg explains why he has never believed in delegation (and why founders shouldn't either): Most CEOs believe their job is to hire great people and get out of the way, but Mark disagrees. "I basically don't believe in delegation." He explains his thinking: "There's so much going on across the company that I can't possibly get involved in all of it. So all these people are going to have a ton of stuff that they're going to do." But that's not a reason to step back. It's a reason to be selective and then go deep. "Fundamentally, if there is a decision that I want to be involved with, I'm going to be involved in it." His argument is simple: if you're the one accountable for everything, why would you ever accept being locked out of something important? "If you're running the company and you're on the hook for everything and there's something that's important at whatever level of detail in the organization, I don't get the logic of saying I'm not going to be involved in that." He's not calling for micromanagement, and he acknowledges he can't be everywhere. What he's rejecting is the idea that hierarchy should be a barrier. That founders should stay in their lane. I look at that picture and I say to myself, "That is a heart attack in a coffee cup." There's an app, I have nothing to do with it, I'm not an investor, called Yuka. You scan it and it tells you if you drink that, you're gonna die. I started using it. I started scanning all the crap I've been eating and I'm gonna die for sure. There's a lot of bad crap. I think that falls into the bad crap category.
