I’m a fan of Jeffrey Sachs. It’s only Africans that can develop Africa and the greatest resources of the continent is its people. The brainwashed mental slavery of African politicians is the content’s worst weakness. Zero patriotism.

Because our current leaders are merely custodians of the neo-colonial institutions, they serve the interests of their masters and not the people that elected them. IT IS THAT SIMPLE.

It flies above our heads because we've been psy-oped.

Ive been told my country (Nigeria) is a failure and I refuse to take accountability after 60 years (a SA man told me this) Simply because I aksed us to Unite Sometimes, I just feel weak.

It flies above the heads of Africans because we have been made to believe that we are inherently corrupt and can rule ourselves. It was done through propaganda for the mainstream media outlets and books. The information war is real and thanks to @Spearhead_Af for the efforts you put in fighting this information war.

A United Africa is a big ask but it might not happen now due to greedy leaders and lack of trust amongst the countries. Hopefully, it happens in the future.

Music is deafening while I am trying to hear the man.

The issues: African leaders present foundationally bad leadership premised on selfish interests against collective national interest that translates into wider regional & continental good. Nothing changes if African leaders won't indulge ethical politics & eschew desperation.

Mental Slavery - Africans must emancipate themselves from the tribal mindset. Nothing wrong with being proud of your unique heritage but that shouldn’t come at the cost of remembering your fate is tied to that of your African neighbors.

The United States of Africa would be incredible. A strong union could resist the colonial divide, conquer, and steal routine.

Doing so will be hard but doable, but only if we first get rid of the crooks and traitors from within holding high positions for assisting the enemies of African people continue with their oppression 🤔

Africa isn't a monolith.

Africa this Africa that, if the freedom and prosperity of Africa is not a popular debate in every conversation at every socioeconomic class in the whole continent we might as well forget it. We are not conscious enough for this kind of debate, we can’t see past our nose

@DavidHundeyin Tjo but they keep the prof busy…

That funding part is the most important part. If we can own that part, 50% of the problem is already solved.

Self-centeredness would not allow most African leaders to give this idea a second thought. This is why a great revolution is needed to power the true and free future of Africa.
