As Safeguarding Minister, she’s now refusing to publish the Home Office data on child sexual exploitation by illegal migrants. She clearly doesn’t want the truth to come out. This is the same Jess Phillips who admitted on Newsnight that her own party, Labour, “turned a blind eye” to the grooming gang scandal: “People have turned a blind eye, I’m not denying that.” How on earth can someone who openly admits Labour looked the other way on the systematic r*pe of thousands of British girls possibly keep the title “Safeguarding Women and Girls”? She should resign in shame. Victims deserve far better than excuses and cover-ups from the very minister who’s supposed to protect them.
