This man got pulled over for a traffic stop in another state while driving home. The officer asked him for his information, the man gave it to him. The officer came back, gave him the ticket, told him where to appear if he wanted to contest and pointed out where he could mail in the fee for the ticket since he didn’t live nearby. The man said okay. The officer asked if he had any questions, the man said no, the officer said be safe and that was that. So many people said that is a normal interaction with police officers. A lot has been made about the knowledge of guilt exhibited by Jen McCabe when she did not immediately run into the house to check on her family after “finding” John. I would argue that these responding officers were intentionally shielding Brian Albert to the same, if not more egregious, extent as Jen. They’ve been on the scene of many, many emergencies. They know how lookie-loos typically behave - calling out to ask what’s going on, vacuuming their yard just to be nosy etc. They knew they were at Brian Albert’s house, and they knew who Brian Albert was. They knew John O’Keefe was an officer. Off the top of my head I can name multiple recent instances of people creating emergency scenes to attack police. The fact that in the 25 minutes between when they arrived on the scene and when they calmly walked in the front door, not a single responding officer began to worry about the fact that Brian hadn’t come out and no lights had turned on inside makes me wonder what else they knew.

🧨 Fireworks fallout in south College Station A family in the Creek Meadows neighborhood shared this after a tense moment with a neighbor over fireworks last night. They admit they shouldn’t have been doing fireworks and say that’s why they chose smaller, less disruptive ones so their kids could enjoy them. According to the family, a man who lives nearby and claims to be a federal law enforcement officer, drove his vehicle over the fireworks and told them to stop. The family feels that crossed a line. They say if there was a problem, the appropriate step would’ve been calling dispatch so an on-duty officer could handle it. A lady recounted her experience with a guy she described as extremely shameless. According to her, the guy had been texting her persistently and kept insisting on taking her out on a date. She eventually agreed, and he suggested a location close to his place. On the day of the date, she arrived before him. Despite the proximity, he showed up very late. What infuriated her wasn’t the lateness itself, but the fact that he arrived wearing nothing but a Barcelona jersey and a pair of Nike slides. Once they had ordered food, he casually told her that since his place was right nearby, she should just come over with him after they finished eating. She immediately said no. This dad called 911 because his seven year old autistic son wasn’t behaving and was having a tantrum. The officer that spoke with him told the father that it was completely inappropriate to call the police over this. He said they have an entire town to protect and three officers responded and then asks the dad while chuckling - “can’t handle a seven year old?” The dad tells him that he has called 911 twice before but no one has ever got mad at him like this officer. The officer tells him that they are approaching charging him with false summoning a police officer. He also tells him that if he can’t handle a seven year then maybe they should get CYS involved because clearly the dad needs parenting classes. 😳 Many said the officer was rude and didn’t have to be. That his job is to protect and SERVE the community and that the family was just reaching out, that he needed support and someone to to talk to because they have no idea how hard it is to raise an autistic child? But others said this is not a job for a police officer, that they aren’t counselors and therapists and that there are many resources available through the city that he should using. 💯 I am team police officer. Some may find it rude but this is not in their job description. And being the third time? You have to put a stop to the 911 calls. What do you think?
