This camel endured months of suffering that left him almost completely broken, both physically and emotionally. He was exploited at a petting zoo, where day after day he was forced to let visitors stroke him, ride on his back, and pose for photos. On the evening of 14th Sep he called his uncle and told him that the wife of the colonel at whose house he is posted as a House Help under Buddy system of Army is going to murder him. After three days the family received a call from SM of the unit who informed them that they are sending the dead body of Amit to Jammu. The family received the Body on 19th Sep and even now no one from the Army bothered to inform them about the cause and reason of his death. Family is alleging that Wife of the Colonel was forcing Amit to do things with her which he was not comfortable with. And that leads to his murder. Its such a serious allegation and if this is true its a shame for the entire force.

As a sign of this love, Jesus gives the Apostles two gifts: his peace and the Holy Spirit. “Peace be with you” he says as he shows them his wounds. This is done not to shame those who abadoned him, but to assure them of his forgiveness and love, and to teach them that his death on the cross has been transformed into a sign of hope. In the giving of the Holy Spirit, Jesus entrusts the Apostles with the task of being his instruments in the world. This lesson is important for each of us: God forgives us, he raises us up, and sends us out anew. May we too be joyful witnesses of the resurrection by bringing the peace, hope and love of Christ to a broken world."

I should start by saying I'm no journalist. Today, a random boy from Kavango East approached me and my colleagues as we sat by the parking outside. First we thought he was begging. Only for him to tell us his name is George Kakuwa. Then he went on to say he was the boy who walked 200km to Rundu to attend the founding father's memorial service last year (2025) in February. I of course searched up the newspaper article just to make sure it was him. Before I could even verify, he continued saying he never got his money and he never went back to school. Most of us remember this story, and how he was hailed as a symbol of youthful inspiration, so much so that a certain amount was pledged to help him and his grandmother with his school. But according to him, it never reached the boy or the family. I recorded the video as evidence, his words are his own whether true or not. Someone should definitely follow up on this story to verify.
