@_Achetypal In Jesus' time, Jews punished homosexual sex with death. If he said nothing about it, that means he didn't see a problem with it.

@_Achetypal I agree with her on the topic, but I can’t help observing the irony here, considering St Paul was pretty clear in the NT that a woman should not teach or to assume authority over a man (1 Tim 2:12) and ought to “remain silent” in the church (1 Cor 14:34).

That was typically in a cultural context. He was addressing the Patriarchy system.

@_Achetypal @hilaryhoe Wrong.

@hilaryhoe What is right?

@_Achetypal @hilaryhoe The Word of God. It specifically forbids a woman from being a pastor/teacher.

@hilaryhoe Forbid? No where in the Bible

@_Achetypal Now do female preachers

The Holy Spirit in female preachers is not a lower version of the one in male preachers. Same Spirit, same word and same power.

@_Achetypal Use scripture to support female preachers please And perhaps try to answer why every single book of the Bible was written by a man

1 Peter 3:7 asserts that both man and woman are heirs of God's gift of eternal life. In Christ Jesus, there is nether male nor female, but faith working in love Secondly the canonisation of the Bible was based centrally on Apostolicity (people who walked with Jesus). Because women were not in the "Apostles" fold

@_Achetypal How does that verse support female preachers? Can you show some legitimate commentary on that ? If not then you’re misusing scripture which is incredibly dangerous. Also there are 66 books in the Bible. Not just NT. So why isn’t one written by a female?

@_Achetypal She can’t at all and won’t try to. A lot of these people are just making $ off the internet pandering to Christians

@_Achetypal They just pick and choose the scripture they want

This is blasphemy. Jesus spoke in parables so that those with ears to hear would understand, while others would not. Scripture is very clear about homosexuality. Many today will choose not to hear or listen. They will have closed ears and hardened hearts just as the Lord warned. “Whoever has ears, let them hear.” -Matthew 13:9 Jesus explained to His disciples: “For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.” -Matthew 13:15, Isaiah 6:9-10 “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.” -Leviticus 18:22 “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination…” -Leviticus 20:13 “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another…” -Romans 1:26-27 “Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality… will inherit the kingdom of God.” -1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Yet even in this, there is hope in Christ for all who repent and turn to Him. The call is to listen while there is still time.

You haven't in any way contradicted what was shared to tag it "blasphemy". Your only issue is that you didn't watch the video.

@Wendi_Irlbeck Precisely

The fact that Jesus was silent on it doesn't mean he endorsed it.

@_Achetypal Remember Lots wife

That excuse as Jesus never spoke about it is just a ridiculous assertion to continue in sin

@_Achetypal Jesus never needed to talk about homosexuality since the Jews at that time had the Torah - which explicitly forbade homosexual acts. Jesus also described marriage as being a lifelong union between a man and woman.

@_Achetypal Homosexuality is an abomination ,any true and Spirit-led follower of Jesus Christ affirms this.

@_Achetypal Yikes, 5 seconds of that annoying, shrill, grating voice was quite enough. Someone should remind her of 1Timothy 2:12 "I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; she must remain quiet."

There were a lot of things morally abhorrent that Jesus didn't talk directly about. You know why? Because if you follow his teachings and believe is the Son of God, born of a virgin birth, died and was resurrected, you automatically know right and wrong. You also recognize false teachers.

@_Achetypal I don’t disagree with the message but this type of preaching is cringey

And why so?

I find loud, overly dramatic preaching cringey because it often feels like it’s more about the speaker’s personality, emotions, or performance than humbly delivering God’s Word. Scripture warns against doing religious acts to be seen or heard by people (Matthew 6), and Paul modeled preaching in ‘weakness and fear’ so that the power would be from God, not slick delivery (1 Corinthians 2). Real conviction and truth don’t need theatrical volume to land they come with reverence and self-control. It’s the same reason overly emotional worship music or hype-man pastors can feel off regardless of who’s doing it. I’d rather hear clear, faithful teaching than a show. The spirit doesn’t speak in a loud voice but in a still small voice

The Spirit doesn't only speak in a still small voice, he can use any medium and sound as he pleases. When Jesus entered the temple to drag the exchangers, he was fierce and appeared "violent". It's a simple message born out of passion and that's why the tone and nature of delivery

The reply misses the point. No one claims the Spirit is limited to whispers. He used thunder, fire, and donkeys too. The cringe is the performative theatrics: loud, dramatic delivery that feels like emotional manipulation and spotlights the speaker’s personality instead of humbly delivering God’s Word.

@_Achetypal You should just admit you don't like her and move on. Her delivery is fine, numbnuts.

@_Achetypal Nothing to do with the preacher just the silly method.

Instead of weighing the substance of the matter, we are dwelling on gender smh

@_Achetypal PREACH HIM - Sister !!!! - And Give’em HEAVEN !!!! YES INDEED !!!! AMEN INDEED !!!!

God bless you

@_Achetypal 1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,

@_Achetypal Corinthians 6:9-10 There’s a few others as well

@_Achetypal Yes He did. Jesus is God. Thus all those statements in the Old Testament that start with "Thus says the Lord" condemning homosexuality are Jesus speaking.

@_Achetypal Woman. Timothy 2:13-14 and shut up.

@_Achetypal The spirit of the LORD Jesus Christ wrote the entire bible. Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

@_Achetypal Multiple times the bible states that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination, so why does Jesus need to state it? He did not come to change the law he came to fulfill it and even in the new testament we know it not accepted by God.

@_Achetypal One word ~ blasphemous

@_Achetypal I don’t listen to women talk about the Bible.

@_Achetypal Jesus gave Moses Leviticus smh

Jesus was in the old testament The law pointed to Jesus

Did some of you even watch her video? Roman's Chapter 1 is pretty clear. For those who say that wasn't Jesus but instead Paul, I submit exhibit #2 Galatians 1:11–12 “For I would have you know, brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but I received it through a revelation of Jesus Christ.” Everything Paul wrote was by the influence of the Holy Spirit. The problem with Christians today is we spend too much time using the bible to beat people over the head with it by pointing out other peoples sin. That isn't our mission, that is the job of the Holy Spirit. Our mission is to live by the Spirit's influence which is defined in Galatians 5:22. This is to bring people to the knowledge of the Gospel that saves which is Christ in us who will then teach us what is sin and help us overcome it.

All are inclusive permissible

@_Achetypal While I agree with her, she needs to read the Bible as well. She is in open rebellion before God as well.

@_Achetypal Somehow people dismiss 3/4 of the bible because "Jesus didn't address it" That is derelict theology.

@_Achetypal Jesus never spoke of it. Where have i seen that half truth before .... "And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?" Genesis 3:1

@_Achetypal Jesus came as a completion of the law. To fulfill the law of the first covenant. It says man will not lay with man. It also say you shouldnt have sex with you mother, MIL, step mother, brother, sister, aunt etc. So if he came to complete and fulfill that means he stands by it!

@_Achetypal Im pretty sure Jesus was on this earth for another reason And I'm pretty sure his father had PLENTY to say about it He destroyed an entire city because of it

@_Achetypal You see how they all cheered when she said “Jesus is the second *member* of the Trinity”? Whatever that means. Tritheism I guess.

@_Achetypal Riiight

@_Achetypal Why is she preaching? That is against God as well.

@_Achetypal 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😈😈😈

Jesus affirms a male and female marriage: Matthew 19:4-6 Matthew 15:19 “For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, and slander.” adultery— sexual intercourse between a married person and someone who is not their spouse. It specifically violates the marriage covenant. sexual immoralities / fornications— any sexual activity outside the covenant of marriage

@_Achetypal Not just one in divine nature, but also in will as well.

That's an add on

@_Achetypal uh duh
