Jev is incredible. I'm scared people are using it wrong.

Jev doesn't replace LLMs. It replaces the part where we ask a probabilistic model to behave deterministically.

I actually replaced my girlfriend with Jev, it's been pretty amazing so far! "Where do you want to go to eat?" I get an answer in 0.0025 seconds. Amazing.

😎😎😎

THEO IT CAME OUT 25 SECONDS AGO SHUT THE FUCK UP

You mean You, Elon, Dario, and Sam are afraid right ?

Thank you. Very easy to get this wrong

if it replaced CVS i want the exact prescription flow before i believe a word of this

you're soo good at this one liner announcements with a hook, damn. I need to learn from the master.

What about who has not tried yet ?

Funny you tried Checkers... I tried Tic Tac Toe and it was terrible at that as well. I tried multiple board input formats and different Jev primitives / shapes... it plays, but can't block my obvious winning moves?

i've been trying to adopt jev inside agent harnesses, and how it can improve efficiency of context usage... what do you think about this?

Heisenberg uncertainty, you’re not going to get super smart and fast 😆

A routing service needs an escape route too 😅 If Jev picks your model, give it a timeout + fixed fallback. For recovery, I'd check one authenticated decision request; a green status page alone doesn't prove that path works.

people treat it like a drop-in replacement instead of a constraint solver

what's the wrong way look like specifically, because 'using it as a faster search' is my guess for where most of the damage happens

I think I'm doing alright with it...

What are you using it for where you think you using it right ?

Theo is scared people are using Jev wrong... It's horrofying. Let me tell you. My colleague imports a list of similar product and prices as choices into Jev... And guess what. He uses Jev to find the cheapest price.. Instead of sorting prices from low to high. He asked Jev.

Great video. Was really excited when Jev and Bend 2 released. I have a few tangent ideas here:

Video is worth watching. I do wish X made it easier to generate summaries like this one from YouTube. @grok I’m assuming you can do something like this with videos posted here?

I’ve been documenting what people are building with Jev at Made With Jev. Such insane and creative things people built with it. There are ~300 builts Worth going down a rabbit hole .

How to use it right? All the use cases seem off to me

every tool gets one week of people using it wrong before someone writes the guide. usually the guide is a complaint thread.

replacing iMessage and Spotify I get, replacing Ford and CVS is where I need a demo

Curious where you draw the boundary: Jev seems ideal when the action space is well-defined and the decision is cheap to verify. But when the state is ambiguous or the cost of a wrong decision is high, do you escalate to a larger model/human?

the scary part is not that it works. it is how easy it is to treat it like a chatbot and burn the edge.

found out what jev was on thursday and by friday my whole timeline was using it wrong. as a designer who let claude write most of his first app, "using it wrong" is the only way i've ever used any of these. the app exists. apple has opinions about it, but it exists.

What 😮

At my prior job I constantly encountered situations where Jev would be incredible. I'm so mad that someone is going to go in and optimize [item] classifications and that person isn't going to be me

Ty

"Smart if statement" is great way to describe it

idk about the waiting list, they gave me access within like a few hours, idk what kind of waiting list that is tbh

uf finally theo into jev hahah
