Absolutely nailed it. Our preferential voting system is basically democracy with cheat codes.. confusing enough to make quantum physics look like naughts and crosses. Most voters have no idea they’re building a political Russian doll with their ballot, while Australian Labor and the Australian Greens sit back, collecting second hand votes like they’re running an electoral thrift shop. First past the post might be brutal, but at least it’s honest.. winner takes all, no sneaky reruns. But try changing it? That’s like asking a toddler to share their candy!! #auspol
