The Green Party currently exists primarily as spoilers to Democratic campaigns. They do not do the work of building their organization to be a viable alternative to the 2 major parties. Their pac money doesn’t support their local candidates. They rarely run candidates in races where they have a chance to win. When they do run, it’s usually in a race where the Dem is favored. They don’t do grassroots campaign activities when they run for these offices - no voter registration drives, no GOTV, no canvassing, no phone banking, etc.
