Before I got into Invincible I was like "Why does he look like a super powered J. Jonah Jameson-" 2 years later I freak out in joy to find out who voiced Nolan-

Omni-Man gave us debatable one of the worst beat downs in the history of super heroes on screen, & it was his own son Invincible. I’m sorry but Omni-Man is packing both Superman, & Homelander up with ease.

J.K. Simmons does the “Are you sure?” Omni-Man meme to Ben Affleck. “Hopefully now I can be in the meme, as my kids tell me that’s when you’ve made it”

I'm of the opinion things would have turned out different if Omni-Man didn't tell invincible that derby was his pet.

This is J.K. Simmons’ screen test for J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man (2002) No wig. No mustache. No cigar. Sony had “higher profile actors” in mind for the role. Simmons said the audition was “nerve-wracking” he had to act out the scene where Green Goblin lifts him by the throat He got the role. 20 years later Marvel brought him back for the MCU without recasting him There is only one J. Jonah Jameson

How fast was Omni Man actually moving in the Flaxan dimension?? 💀 This is easily the best depiction of Viltrumite speed in Invincible

J.K. Simmons in COUNTERPART (2017) deserved way more attention. Two versions of the same man, and Simmons makes you feel the difference in every little choice. The show gave him an actor’s playground and he absolutely ran with it.

Adult performer Ron Jeremy was asked how many women he had been with, and he responded with a joke before giving his estimate. He claimed the number was around 3,600, adding that he and Gene Simmons had been asked the same question before and that he uses the joke in his comedy act. “But around 3,600. I do a joke about it in my comedy act. Me and Gene Simmons were asked that question.”

I guess Omni Man wasn't too soft on Invincible because this scene was traumatic for sure. Nolan is a Viltrumite so everything that happened to him was their culture, that's what happens to the weak. BUT FOR MARK, he was a hero, he wanted to save the weak.

J.K. Simmons, who played J. Jonah Jameson in six of the “Spider-Man” films, recalls how friends urged him to ask director Sam Raimi for a role in the 2002 movie, but he never did because he didn't like asking for parts. As it turned out, Raimi had already envisioned him as the iconic publisher of the Daily Bugle: "Thank you, Sam Raimi." #SpiderMan

When the role of 'Red Grant' in "From Russia with Love" (1963) was offered to Robert Shaw, he turned it down as he felt that the script was "Rubbish". His then wife and actress, Mary Ure convinced him to take the role. The role tuned out to be pivotal in his career.
