I love The Martian but Damon’s performance in Nolan’s latest clears anything he’s ever done & should put him in the driver’s seat for best actor. Also worth noting? My guy Ridley Scott is back in theaters in just a few weeks.

One thing I am glad to see from the award season was Elle Fanning receiving her overdue Oscar nomination for her performance in Sentimental Value. She was consistently overlooked in discussions for such an understated, complex role that honestly deserves more flowers. She’s so good playing intentionally out of place here.

Eddington didn’t earn any #Oscar nominations today but I don’t think that came as a big surprise to many- at least not to me. Surprising or not, I still think this film deserved Oscar recognition & was one of the year’s best films. Not to mention Joaquin Phoenix is outstanding.

I cannot say enough positive things about this movie- I think it’s a little better than Uncut Gems.
