Meanwhile, average Americans are getting hammered for $600 Venmo payments and could end up in federal prison for a mistake on their taxes. The government has no problem demanding every cent from us, but when it comes to their own books? Crickets. We’re basically funding the biggest black hole in accounting history, and they have the nerve to lecture us about responsibility.
