John Barnes vs Everton 1989 FA Cup Final

My first trip to Wembley. 6 years old.

Doubling up on him and kicking the shit out of him. He still kept coming. What a footballer.

I got to ask Aldo in a Q&A who was the best player he ever played with. Without a thought he said JB. 9 times out of 10 he made me a chance. My Dad got to ask Steve McMahon. JB. Whenever we were knackered we gave him the ball and they couldn’t get it off him

@TPybis What a player, what a day, the last FA Cup Final I went to with Dad (bless)…

Great montage of Barnes but if watch the re run of the 120 mins, Everton battered them and Rush was offside twice.
