I just don’t get it. Gary Lineker was directly working for the BBC for over 30 years and was openly spouting his antisemitism for many years. Why wasn’t he sacked?

John was sacked to save them paying him off - he’s been made to be guilty by association with Greg Wallace. I personally believe John & don’t think he has done this. BBC definitely not being fair - SACK the BBC

We need the full story, not half of one. It may well justified him being sacked, but we simply don’t know. I don’t believe he can’t remember it. That’s a bit too convenient! 🙄

During the investigation, ordered by the programme's production company Banijay - the presenter was diagnosed with autism. The BBC said they had informed Mr Wallace they had "no plans to work with him in future". He alleged last week that the "most damaging claims" were "found to be baseless after a full and forensic 6 month investigation".
