John's Thoughts Aluminum Magazines?

I use a lot of the steel mags these days and I have some aluminum ones. I've gotten rid of all my poly mags. While all magazines are consumables, I've found that in my environment the poly ones are more consumable.

If you keep metal mags on the front of your flak jacket and then go in the prone, you end up bending them and deforming them and getting all kinds of stoppages. It got so bad on deployment that many of us would ask family to ship us pmags and command would always try to confiscate them because they weren't "approved" haha
