Grief stricken 2001, my best friend 🧡 died, Sinead Ryan from Tallaght. The Ryan family immigrated to Boston in late 1980's and myself in the 1990's. Sinead used J&J talc powder, after gym class, in the hot humidity heat and blamed J&J. She showed me how she sprinkled it all over her body. Sinead had a 9" diameter size of a cantaloupe melon cyst removed from her womb in 1999. Sinead went through two years of hell. I'd sit with her hold her hand while she got chemotherapy cocktail 💉 injection. We worked at @Fidelity Investments together 2001 @BrighamWomens womens gyny hospital chemotherapy, steroids which made her blow up, weight gain, then my bestie had a stroke and lost her ability to speak. Sinead could only scream at a high-pitched voice. It was devastating 💔 losing her hair buying wigs for her. I would visit her in the hospital. Her mom and Dad and uncle, sisters, and brother would be there. We were all in shock. Sinead got married right before she died to a great guy. I didn't really 💃 dance💃 alot at her wedding. I didn't know how to cope. I sat numb, broken hearted at losing her. Sinead was my confident, my bestie, we did everything together. I never got over losing my girlfriend ☘️💚🙏 Happy Saint Patrick's Day my darling bestie Sinead🇺🇸☘️🇺🇸❤️🇺🇸💚🇺🇸. I🍸 wish we were downtown having a glass of pino Grigio together in @CoogansBOSTON Bluff our old drinking 🍸 bar downtown chasing hot guys or in South end or North End having diner. MAJOR: Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay $5.5 billion to resolve lawsuits that alleged the company’s talc products caused ovarian cancer. This settlement is less impressive when considering that 76,000 plaintiffs have been in litigation for a full decade, bearing the costs of cancer treatment during that time. Each will receive only $36,000, approximately. In 2020, Johnson & Johnson was ordered to pay $2.1 billion to 22 plaintiffs after a jury found the company's talc-based baby powered caused them to develop ovarian cancer. The Missouri Court of Appeals found "significant reprehensibility" in the company's conduct. Johnson & Johnson have attempted to dodge accountability for their alleged cancer causing product through three different attempts to declare bankruptcy in the last ten years, and made hundreds of billions of dollars during that time.
