Democrats have no plan on how to get out of the shutdown that they created. Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries have kowtowed to AOC, Bernie Sanders, and Zohran Mamdani because they are petrified of a primary. They have repeatedly voted not only to shut the government down, but also to not pay our troops and federal workers, even when given the opportunity to. It is shameful. It is wrong. And it should end immediately.

These two friends had booked an Airbnb with two beds and a scenic view. When they get there they find out that their scenic view is on a house boat and the only way to get there is by raft. They make it to the boat and it seems like their beds are gonna be in a one room boat, it isn’t as spacious as they imagined and the rocking on the boat makes them uneasy. Why is there never any accountability when it comes to employers. It seems they operate teetering on the edge of ethical incompetence at times when it comes to hiring. If I make a mistake on the application then I can easily be disqualified without an explanation for a job. But how can they offer me a job and then take it away because they didn’t check my availability? Is it because they thought if they offered me enough money I would change my mind? Would that work with you? I can be flexible but I do keep a schedule for a reason.

My kids can be finicky when it comes to food, but my problem is with me. I don’t want them to be without so what ends up happening is if they like something, I will stock up on it. This is why I have two mega boxes of slim Jims in my pantry, this is why I have 4 Costco size boxes of Welch’s fruit snacks and so on. I have yet to find a healthy compromise when it comes to keeping a decent amount of the foods they like in stock. They change their mind too much and when they stop eating it the food expires so I have to throw it away. Almost like clockwork right after I threw it away, they ask for it again. I definitely know how it feels to try to make sure the kids have things they want to eat but with them changing their minds so much, that makes it quite challenging and I really don’t have a viable solution except to run to the store every time they want something. What do you do in this situation? I am willing to try anything at this point to avoid the waste of food and money.
