The entire reason Joe is on #Survivor48 in the first place is because of his sister. It was always her dream to play. I wanted to wait a bit to post this after Charlie’s assassination but I think it speaks to why he was so special. We posted a paper exposing how the Census process has been weaponized against the American people to help the left, hiding it under an algorithm that was supposed to be for protecting privacy. It was a bit of a wonky complicated topic and my worry was that no one would understand the value in bringing it to light. Charlie Kirk’s team was amongst the first to contact us and ask me to come on to speak about it. Charlie saw the importance of this. He was a generational talent.

I wanted to wait a bit to post this after Charlie’s assassination but I think it speaks to why he was so special. Kyle Shanahan on Curtis Robinson: “He's really worked to get better each year, and he's a very talented guy. I think when he came here, he hadn't played in a system like this for a while. It took him a little bit to kind of pick that up, but we so believed in him as a guy and his talent level that after a year, you could start to see it clicking. He became a big asset on special teams, and last year was the first time that we really believed he was going to step in there, really contribute at linebacker at a high level. It was actually kind of a sad story, but it was about 20 minutes before he tours ACL, was the first time that I told him he'd be starting that week. It was his first start in his career, and he had earned it. We were going to move him ahead of Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles at the time. I had just told Flannigan, which was tough for Flannigan, but they were so tight, so he was happy for Curtis. "The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. I just watched him grow over the years, not just the championship year, but with Jayson Tatum, obviously out, more responsibility falls into his hands, and I thought they did a great job building around him for this particular season, with all the shooting that surrounds him." The only reason that you’re not down 0-2 is because of what Hartenstein was able to do and keep Wemby off the glass and do all the things he was able to do. Proud dad moment. This is my son Hudson's 3rd year playing baseball. He's a killer whenever he goes to bat. .600+ batting average. Never strikes out. His first two seasons, he was on a team where all four pitchers were the coaches sons. Needless to say, he never got to pitch. This season, he was on a different team. This team has one good pitcher, but that pitcher plays on two different teams. When he's not there to pitch, it's a disaster. Last game he wasn't there, Hudson's team lost 20-1. The other team got 3 hits... that's not a typo. All season, Hudson has been asking for a chance to pitch with the coach saying "maybe" every time. Fast forward to yesterday. Good pitcher is there. We're up 11-4. Good pitcher runs out of pitches with two outs remaining in the second to last inning. Coach puts his son in as pitcher. Son needs to get ONE out. It's a hot mess. He allows 4 runs on zero hits and by some miracle, the inning comes to an end. Coach doesn't have to look at me to know that you could boil an egg on my forehead in that moment. I'm steaming. Finally in the last inning he relents and puts Hudson on the mound. After waiting for three years, Hudson gets to pitch for the first time. 14 pitches. Strikeout. Ground out. Strikeout. Game over. Here's the final at bat.

Noah Slaughter came in last place in his Fantasy Football League and his punishment was to sing the National Anthem at our game today 😂 His friends allowed him to read the lyrics from his phone out of respect for the anthem. His friends & league-mates bought tickets and are standing about 20 feet to his right cheering him on. They got him a bright neon vest that says 'Please Be Patient, I suck @ Fantasy Football' Noah says that he only lost because he missed the draft and it 'auto-drafted' his team 😂 Cheers to Noah for being a good sport and singing the National Anthem 🇺🇸

Ryan Day was impressed with Isaiah West’s performance in Ohio State’s win over Wisconsin. The freshman had a team-high 55 rushing yards on nine carries. “Hit (the holes) good (on his two runs for seven and 14 yards),” Day said. “There were two guys in the hole that he made miss. So good sign for a young back. So we’ll kind of see what it looks like and see where we’re going from here. I mean, those are good runs. And so we’re going to look at everything and do everything we can to make sure that we’re efficient and we’re balanced.” West played 14 snaps against the Badgers after totaling just 15 snaps in the Buckeyes’ first six games of the season.
