I felt very confident with Jordyn Tyson as WR1 heading into the year, which was partially due to how underwhelming the rest of the class was. But CFB WRs have developed at an unprecedented rate this year & the class has gone from mediocre to 2024-caliber (I have 11 in my top-50). Despite seemingly every WR behind him having a breakout season, I think Tyson has maintained (or even extended) his lead. For such a polished WR with so few glaring weaknesses, I wasn't expecting a huge leap, but he's noticeably improved across the board. Anything he was below average/avg at last year, he now does at a solid/good level. - Play strength was a concern, but he gained 15 lbs & is still an easy mover - Cut his drop rate from 8.5% to 2.5% - Stops/comebacks have been his worst routes imo, but it was clearly a technique issue because he's cooking this year He’s also built on his strengths & the good/great aspects of his game are now great/elite. - Making ridiculous acrobatic plays/adjustments at the catch point weekly - Even better salesmanship/timing as a route runner this year. Wins consistently on slants/digs/outs because he has a plan to attack every leverage/technique. - Improved attn. to detail vs. zone. Really precise stems to disguise his route & disappear into the blind spot - More juice after the catch this year

Odell Beckham JR in a recent interview speaking on not wanting to leaving the #Giants “I never wanted to leave the Giants” “If the Giants won the Super Bowl I’d be happy but deep down I wanted to be the one to bring another one” Regardless of how you feel about Odell, prime OBJ was one of the most electric WRs in the NFL on a HOF pace, he was a globally known figure and arguably the most talented WR to suit up in a #NYGiants uniform…what could’ve been. Fans showed up early JUST to watch his Pre Game warm ups and the insane catches he made to hype the crowd up. Whether if you were a #NewYorkGiants fan or not you tuned it to see what big play or spectacular catch Odell was going to have that game. He was a true difference maker and game changer for the Giants in his prime, a home-run play waiting to happen and you knew it was coming. I wish things had went differently for him in New York but I’ll always appreciate Odell Beckham Jr for what he brought to the Giants and how bad he wanted to win.

I LOVE THIS! FINALLY! MIAMI GOT A STUD! Chris Bell is my WR8 and would have been higher if not for the ACL injury. Most projected him to run a 4.3 to a low 4.4 at the combine. 6’1 ⅞, 222 lbs., Chrisl Bell will over flexibility as an X, Z and flanker option for an offense. Bell can stretch a defense vertically on any given play, he’s good in space whether it’s his understanding of angles or using his pure raw talent to make a defender miss, has a nice wide catch radius, tracks the ball well, has good balance to play through contact and he loves the physical aspect of the game. This is a potential 1st round talent if he stays healthy. #PhinsUp

Just an appreciation post for Odell Beckham Jr With his suspension over and him now a free agent, I totally get that the Giants are headed in a different direction and probably aren’t looking to reunite with a 33-year-old WR. But personally? I’d love to see it happen. OBJ took over the NFL in a way few players ever have, similar to how Skatt is taking over now with that rare mix of talent, swagger, and pure charisma. I don’t care what anyone says about him as a person; what I saw was a fiercely competitive athlete who left everything on the field. De’Zhaun Stribling (Ole Miss WR) has gotten shockingly little draft coverage. • Fluid mover who builds speed quickly and eats up space against off coverage while consistently threatening defenses downfield. • Brings ideal outside size with strong hands and body control, wins at the catch point, and can produce at every level of the field. • Polished route runner — does a great job settling vs. zone and creating separation vs. man, especially on curls, comebacks, and intermediate concepts. • Shows the tools to beat press with footwork and timing, and tracks the ball naturally downfield for explosive plays. There were some questions about his speed and playmaking ability, but he silenced those with a 4.36 40 time and a 9.88 RAS score. A player I could see sneaking into Round 3 when it’s all said and done.

If you're looking for a gadget WR, I think the best value in the 2026 class is Kendrick Law. - Top-tier athlete with decent size & a ton of juice after the catch - Instantly erases pursuit angles & tightropes the sideline for extra yards - 3.4% career drop rate - Competitive run blocker His route tree is a shrub - Lowest ADOT among P4 receivers in 2025 (3.4) - 57.6% (38/66) of his targets were flat routes or screens - Average route depth (5.1 yards) was the 3rd lowest in the P4 But I think he has a lot of untapped potential as a route runner. He separated consistently on slants/outs/posts & is incredibly explosive out of breaks. Also has more nuance/salesmanship at the top of routes than I expected. I have Zachariah Branch ranked higher than Law, but if Branch costs a 1st round pick & Law costs a 4th/5th, I feel like that's a pretty easy decision.

Omar Cooper Jr. #5 WR/#34 overall Balanced skillset with very few red flags/major weaknesses. Good straight-line athlete, adequate size, excellent COD/fluidity. Played slot (83.3%) in '25 & Z (90.3%) in '24 - probably a slot in the NFL, but showed he can at least survive vs. press. Strengths: - Speed, C.O.D., & technique to separate from/stack man coverage at all 3 levels - Advanced salesmanship & sudden transitions as a route runner. Been watching a lot of footage of 2028 QB and now Alabama commit Charles Scott Jr. According to 247 in 2025 the 6’5, 255 lb sophomore threw for around 3,600 yards and 41 TDS on 178 completions. Only throwing 4 INTs!!! Scott Jr (son of his high school coach) has obvious massive upside given his size. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that already as a sophomore, he has an SEC build. The Good: - Kid is LARGE, much like Alabama’s recent five star commit Elijah Haven, Scott’s size allows him a full view of everything going on around him on the field. Mechanics benefit from his size - strong throwing platform. - Flashes plenty of natural strengths, including an explosive arm that doesn’t seem to have to work very hard to push the ball vertically. - Even as a developing HS quarterback, Scott Jr already shows a lot of finesse. Accuracy in highlight tape (provided below from Scottboyz on YouTube) is on the upswing, especially on layered and touch passes. - Although not technically a massive run threat, Scott Jr, given his size, can stress defenders on the ground, especially in short yardage situations. Areas for Refinement: - Shows promise with timing routes, but will get better as he matures over the next couple of season. - Mechanics are not fully polished as to be expected from a young QB, but raw traits still shine. Footwork under pressure! - Will grow into faster processing speeds as he continues his path. Will need this as he makes the talent jump to the SEC. All-in-all, this is a rising recruit in the 2028 class - one that will garner a ton of attention over the next several months, especially now that Alabama fully seated at the head of the table. Another potential eval masterclass from Kalen DeBoer, Ryan Grubb, and Bryan Ellis. The scheme fit for Scott Jr is perfect at Alabama. The size and arm talent are there, with touch on the way. Combined with intangibles such as high football IQ (coaches son) and a very strong relationship with Tide staff - this is a solid pickup for Alabama. The QB position remains in great hands moving forward in Tuscaloosa.
