We can't manufacture another day. God gives it all — freely, generously, moment by moment. And yet how easy it is to take it for granted. To rush through our days as though life belongs to us, as though our plans are ours alone, as though we are the authors of our own story. Here is a story that illustrates that —

So often we say things like "my life," "my plans," "my career," "my future." We talk as though we are the owners of everything we have. But here's the truth: you don't own any of it. In times of darkness, we yearn for sunshine. In moments of sadness, we search for joy. Feeling joy for each other and everyone has the power to unite us and eradicate hatred. It serves as a reminder to break free from some narrow perspectives imposed by cultures, countries, and religions, and instead embrace all as fellow human beings and fellow travellers on this fleeting journey of life.
