I’ve been saying that last sentence for the past 8 months. For this midfield to truly reach their potential Real Madrid need a Kroos replacement, someone that can dictate at will, switch play, control the rhythm of a game. Maybe they do that next summer when he leaves

True. He's no Modric nor Kroos but he's someone our midfield has been lacking for years. A midfielder with an eye for goal. Most times you see not one single midfielder in the opposition box and it sucked big time. I think he can be a good bargain at the end of the day.

How can you not see the resemblance to Kaka?

@ike_okparaeke Socrates is similar profile to a Kaka. Only difference is Socrates did it abit deeper too and battled - similar to Jude whereas Kaka pure attacking mid. Also Kaka more express pace and direct vibe whereas Jude more pick his moments type.

Wow ... Watched this video now, I have to say you were right about Jude. Match winner for Real Madrid but he is no successor to Kroos or Modric.

I think he replaces Valverde in that midfield…I personally don’t think Valverde is good enough for Madrid. His defence ability and tracking back has been really awful this past season…
