Junior doctors in England will be taking strike action next week Whilst UK media stands by silently the Government is engaged in a shameless campaign to demonize them I will not stand by and watch that happen - here are some actual FACTS

The process of pay review is hardly "Independent" when the government tell them from the start what they consider affordable, so don't even bother recommending anything more. They are a monopoly employer abusing their position.

Wasn't it junior Drs at war with the Govt.. Last time Jeremy Hunt was involved He caused many/ most of the current NHS problems. An utter ideologue and promoter of a privatised health system.

The strike is more than about pay - chronic NHS underfunding, inadequate staffing levels and supervision has led to to unsafe conditions for patients and unsustainable stress for all. Attrition needs to be stemmed and working conditions improved.

Perhaps you should check your own conscience before speaking Mr Barclay?
