@_VivekTrivedi MPs have had a pay increase every year and way above inflation this year. I support the #juniordoctorstrike 100%. Stop MPs fleecing the taxpayers & pay our doctors & all NHS staff.

@_VivekTrivedi Leading questions much? Very well done to him

@_VivekTrivedi Smart people don't blame an Employee for being underpaid. Conversation needs shifting onto the bad Employer. Drs literally keep us alive .

@BMA_JuniorDocs @_VivekTrivedi Next time you have the Health secretary on you could ask them how they justify that MPs received a 10.3% increase in their pay, equivlent to 6940 pa, in May 2015 when inflation was 1%. Junior doctors starting pay after 7 years training is just over £15ph minimum wage is £11.44ph.

@_VivekTrivedi They should just be called ‘doctors’

@_VivekTrivedi Our juniors doctors should be paid £21 an hour they have trained hard they work hard and this is not unreasonable

@_VivekTrivedi Absolute solidarity with doctors.

@_VivekTrivedi Vivek doing OK in this interview, but it’s time BMa reps pushed back harder. “What do you say to patients?” Response: “You mean what does the government say to patients that they can’t even provide a happy workforce?”

@_VivekTrivedi They're happy to uncap bankers bonuses to keep them in the UK and give themselves a massive pay rise but doctors can just go do one. I am shocked that we still have any doctors tbh when they can go to any other country and get paid properly. They stay because they care.

@_VivekTrivedi Well said! Brilliantly explained
