"I REALLY ENJOY WINNING" When Navy and Maryland women's lacrosse take the field Thursday night in the NCAA Quarterfinals, they will share more than just an area code. Navy HC, Cindy Timchal, won 8 Championships at Maryland, including 7 straight from 1995-2001. Maryland head coach, Cathy Reese played on those championship teams from '94-'98 and served as an assistant coach for the other three. In her 44th season coaching, I asked Cindy what it was that keeps her going:

Houston track and field received some pushback earlier this year when Olympic bronze medalist Louie Hinchliffe rejoined the program after originally turning pro. NCAA approved his petition for one more season. “The bigger thing was everyone else was pissed. That’s what I loved the most about it. I love to be the disruptor,” Houston head coach and 9-time Olympic gold medalist said in an interview with Greg Bailey and Houston Chronicle. Hinchliffe won 2024 NCAA 100-meter title. NCAA championships begin next week in Eugene, Ore.

This reel is by Danny Schaechter, a QB coach from Libertyville HS outside of Chicago and an expert in rotational mechanics in throwing. I sought him out to learn the truth about shooting mechanics. I had never felt comfortable teaching shooting mechanics for power myself because I know I’m not an expert on that. I’m more of an expert in teaching deceptive shooting. I also had my doubts that what was generally being taught by lacrosse coaches around the nation about shooting mechanics was on point either. So I did a podcast with Danny and asked him to do a reel for JM3. ”Cracking the whip is the key to a powerful lacrosse shot & scoring more goals! Keep your head still for focus, let your hips drive the rotation, plant a solid foot for stability, and avoid pushing your hands back to maintain the whip effect.”

I vibe coded a fully functional end-to-end booking platform for her lash and brows business. Not just the customer-facing website… I also built the entire admin dashboard powering the operations behind the scenes. Built the frontend with Vercel/Next.js and used Supabase to power the backend infrastructure, bookings, auth, storage, and dashboard data. Honestly, I can’t even begin to explain all I did on this project 😭, we did a discount system and so on I just kept building and shipping.
