My whole adult life, even when I was in the navy in the 80s, I never had reason to fear a gay man (they called me "sis") or a lesbian woman (they held doors open for me and smiled at me), and there were a lot of them. But a transgender men coming towards me or staring aggressively at me or in the bathroom with me makes me clutch my spicy treat dispenser extra hard and I don't ever turn my back on them. Let's go back to gay, I'm all for it.

I think in the past, a lot of transexuals were effeminate gay men who thought their lives might be easier if they lived as women. A lot of the transgender "women" today at straight men who insist they are lesbians. They aren't lesbians, they're fetishists.

The “trans” claim isn’t universal. Cross-culturally, gay/trans are one & the same, with varying degrees of self-expression. The west wrongly pathologized homosexuality/transexuality as separate “symptoms” because it uses a disease model & not all gays crossdress.
