Just built an MCP for Ghidra. Now basically any LLM (Claude, Gemini, local...) can Reverse Engineer malware for you. With the right prompting, it automates a *ton* of tedious tasks. One-shot markups of entire binaries with just a click. Open source, on Github now.

Made a video going over the capabilites, plugin architecture + some demos. You can chat back and forth with a binary like someone already analyzed it for you. Ask the LLM questions about functionality, summarize behaviors, execute cleanup tasks, etc

This is just the beginning. With the right prompting workflow, you can "teach" models to move in the right direction even with complex samples. Looking forward to what other researchers come up with! Tool Here:

Has anyone had any luck with something like this that works well for firmware (.bin files), instead of just malware?

ghidra works with just about anything, so yes. malware was just an example, you can use my same tool for firmware
