Just found out a tutorial of a Geo Nodes setup for automatic Tension Maps! Since it compares the rest pose with the deformations, I don't have to set up any drivers or math, it just works. I just need to improve the wrinkle map itself. Tutorial next tweet

I've made one of these before. Been thinking about the right way to add it to my addon... But first I have to finish the big Deformer update!

Are the wrinkles handpainted or generated in some way? Also, I tried to work on a simpler/cleaner version some time ago. I don't know if it'll be useful, but just in case, here it is:

The wrinkles are from a bitmap-packed texture that contains the normal map and overlay diffuse map in the alpha channel. But I think for a more realistic result, I would need extra maps separating the stress and compress wrinkles
