Just found out that it also applies for the regular Windows 11 IoT Enterprise edition (non-LTSC) when picked in the Windows Setup. It's pretty clear that IoT Enterprise is the SUPERIOR edition of Windows 11, no need to bypass any system requirements B.S. with any workarounds! 🎉

It's happening! Here's your first look at a movable taskbar in Windows 11, coming soon. You'll be able to move and resize the taskbar on Windows 11, just like you did on Windows 10! It's still in internal testing, and to be clear, this video is from a virtual machine, which is why it might feel slow. Also, Microsoft won't use the right-click menu we're seeing in the video; it's only being used to quickly debug the feature. What else do you want Microsoft to improve in Windows 11? 👇

Microsoft teases a faster and configurable context menu (right-click menu) for Windows 11 after years of complaints! Marcus Ash, who leads Design and Research for Windows and Devices, says Microsoft is working on making context menus faster, simpler by default, and configurable to what you use most. That last part is huge. Windows 11’s context menu was supposed to fix the cluttered Windows 10 right-click menu. Instead, it became slower, padded, inconsistent, and still messy. You often need “Show more options” just to reach the old menu, which defeats the whole point of redesigning it. Now Microsoft is taking the same approach it used with Start and taskbar: give users control. Resizable Start. Movable taskbar. Smaller taskbar. Customizable Start sections. And now, configurable context menus. This is the Windows 11 reset users wanted 🥳

I bet you've never noticed this ultra-cool but rather complicated "cone of prediction" at the center of Windows context menus? It allows the system to predict that you're aiming for a flyout. Well, that's because Windows (at least in the old days) didn't do any such fanciness. It just uses a timeout of 400ms, and it's always worked pretty well. It's even adjustable (SPI_SETMENUSHOWDELAY) these days, but used to just be 80% of your double-click speed setting. So the faster your reflexes were - per that setting, at least - the shorter your menu flyout allowance. No cone needed. ( I stole this from a Raymond Chen hockey card that I keep tucked up in my 50 Mission Cap ).

The blast in Quetta was so powerful that it was heard across the city, causing severe damage to nearby houses. Windows of surrounding buildings were shattered, while doors and windows of several homes in Junior Assistant Colony and Shehbaz Town were also blown out.

Windows 11’s June 2026 Patch Tuesday update is out today, and the biggest change is Performance, not AI. Windows 11 KB5094126 finally brings Microsoft’s new Low Latency Profile to everyone. Microsoft calls it a “General Performance” improvement, but the idea is simple: when you open Start, Search, Action Center, or key shell experiences, Windows briefly pushes the CPU to max frequency for 1–3 seconds so the UI responds faster. I tested it earlier, and the difference is most obvious on budget PCs. Start feels snappier, Search opens faster, and those tiny Windows 11 micro-stutters are reduced. The catch: because of Microsoft’s Controlled Feature Rollout, installing today’s update does not guarantee it is enabled yet. You can verify it with HWiNFO by watching CPU frequency spikes while opening Start.

I've just noticed that Microsoft has added AI image editing options in Windows You can remove any element from an image and the generative AI will fill in. It works natively and for free with the default Photos app:

Just landed: /diff is now a persistent pane that you can scroll and click. It updates in real-time. For the times when you want to see the code without having to switch windows. Enjoy!

Microsoft is cooking! Windows 11’s faster app launches released today, and everything is noticeably faster on low-end PCs. Windows 11’s CPU boost feature is no longer just for Start, Search, and shell flyouts. After installing the August 2026 security update, it is now silently active while opening apps too. We tested this on the same PC before and after KB5121003, and the difference is real. Notepad, Calculator, Chrome, VLC, PowerPoint, Weather, and even the Epic Games Store now trigger the same Low Latency Profile behavior Microsoft first rolled out for the Windows shell in June. The moment you open an app, Windows briefly pushes the CPU close to its maximum frequency for one to three seconds, finishes the launch work faster, and then drops back to idle. This is called “race to sleep,” and it is not a lazy trick. macOS and Linux already do similar things. CPU utilization does not spike the same way, so this is not your PC suddenly working harder forever. It is a short frequency burst to make Windows feel more responsive. I know people love mocking Windows performance, and often for good reason, but this one actually works. Apps open faster now, especially on budget and older PCs where every second of delay is noticeable. Windows 11 is finally getting the kind of performance work it should have had from day one.

$I came across a great persistence mechanism and created a Sigma rule for it. Just drop your batch script or add a line that points to your payload inside C:\Windows\Setup\Scripts\ErrorHandler.cmd, and upon execution of C:\Windows\System32\oobe\Setup.exe, the payload will run. In the clip below, I have cmd.exe /c calc.exe as the payload. If ErrorHandler doesn't exist, you can create it along with the directory. Thanks to hexagon for posting about it 🙏 In regards to the rest binaries under the C:\Windows\System32\oobe\ directory, most of them will not work, whereas others will force a restart (i.e. audit.exe) 🔗:$

Holy shit... someone built a free portable tool that activates Windows, kills the bloatware, and shuts down every telemetry service Microsoft buried in your OS. It's called GTweak. One .exe file. No install. No subscription. You download it, run it, and your Windows is finally yours. Every "Windows debloater" before this made you pick one trade-off. Activate but keep the spyware. Debloat but lose update control. Disable telemetry but break Defender toggles. GTweak does all of it inside a single portable executable. Here's what makes it different from every Windows tweaker that came before: → HWID + KMS activation built in, no sketchy batch scripts, no Massgrave links, no PowerShell one-liners pasted from a Reddit thread → Removes Cortana, Copilot, Recall, OneDrive, Edge, and every pre-installed UWP app on Windows 10 and 11 in one click → Disables keyloggers and telemetry across Windows and NVIDIA including the data collection tasks hiding in Task Scheduler that nobody talks about → Blocks Microsoft's shadow domains at the hosts file AND firewall level so the OS literally cannot phone home → Disables Defender, SmartScreen, Antimalware, VBS, and UAC with proper toggles instead of registry hacks that break on the next update → Pauses Windows Updates entirely and wipes the cached update files Microsoft refuses to let you delete → Kills Teredo, ISATAP, and IPv6 along with the diagnostic services running silently in the background → Activates the hidden Ultimate Performance power plan and fixes the Realtek audio delay bug nobody at Microsoft has patched in 5 years → Runs custom .ps1, .cmd, .bat, .reg scripts with TrustedInstaller privileges, the highest permission level Windows has → Built-in hardware monitor, NTFS compression, RAM cleaner, and secure Windows.old wipe Killed: $30 Windows 11 Pro keys, every "debloat script" repo with 47 forks and no maintenance, the $5/mo "PC optimizer" garbage running on YouTube ads. Works on every official Windows build since 10 (18362.116). One .NET Framework 4.8 dependency that's already on your machine. BSD 3-Clause License. 100% Opensource.

Who’s ditching regular tents for this luxury upgrade? You just inflated an ENTIRE log cabin in the woods 😱🏕️ No poles. No swearing. No 30-minute setup nightmare. Just pump, sip coffee on the front porch, and stare at forest views through giant windows like you’re in a cozy cabin… but it packs down tiny when you’re done.

I've been testing out Windows 11's new Haptic Signals feature on compatible hardware, and I think I love it. I'm someone who yearns for small UX details like this, and I'm so happy to see Microsoft leaning into subtle but quality UX implementations like haptics across the Windows Shell. These new Haptic Signals provide a subtle bump when interacting with certain UI elements and actions, such as snapping app windows or dragging files in File Explorer. The feedback response feels great and intentional, and makes using the OS feel more satisfying. There's still room for improvement, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't impressed with this first implementation. It's only supported on a handful of devices for now, but that should change over time. I've always loved the haptic feedback layered throughout Google Pixel phones, and now Windows is getting its own version of it. More UX niceties like this, please!

I need some help! > Clean windows reinstall, CS2 runs ok. But ever since i've installed Faceit AC, I've got those 2-3-4 second freezes happening quite often, sometimes 1 per minute. The worst part is it also happens outside of the game and it's 100% since faceit AC. Any idea?

🚨The case against the gunman from the WHCD will likely condemn the man to prison FOR LIFE. I wish we didn't have to support this SCUM with our tax money. "When you tie that to the fact that your target was the President of the United States, I mean, you are, as you pointed out before, looking at spending the REST OF YOUR LIFE in a very small place away from any windows." Should serve as a lesson to any other extremists. Granted the message needs to PREVENT people from becoming radicalized enough to carry out acts of heinous violence.

I posted about a friend of mine that relocated to the UK from Abuja and is very good in mechanical and electrical things when it has to do with cars. This is one of the things he does that gives him serious pounds. He can pimp anything you want in your car. Look at how he is controlling the windows of his car with just the car remote.
