Just found out that Metroid Prime 4 has a different title theme when you first boot-up the game. Left is first boot-up, right is subsequent boot-ups on the same profile.

Incredible catch. I miss the OG Prime theme but I hope they utilize this motif throughout the next couple of games. It felt like the beginning of a new era

I noticed this right away because I had listened to the leaked menu theme multiple times and was surprised to see that it was different

Maybe this is a switch 1 thing because this didn’t happen to me. The left one is pretty cool though

I noticed this day 1, surprised more people didn't. first boot, regardless of switch 1 or 2 edition, plays the credits theme. Every boot after, even if you only opened and closed the game, plays the actual menu theme.

So I wasn't crazy !

It was driving me nuts how it never sounded the same as the first time, like I was assuming this was a 1.0 thing that went away after I updated the next day.

I have the PAL version and yes I noticed this too.
