JUST IN: 🇬🇧🇨🇳 British Navy drones caught secretly sending data to China Royal Navy surveillance drones used by Britain’s elite special forces were fitted with Chinese made camera components that transmitted “heartbeat” data to an IP address in China. The MoD disconnected the cameras from the internet after discovering... show more

Raising major national security concerns? It should raise eyebrows and concern about the brain level of the people responsible for this naive stupidity. Oh, wait......

That means the communication wasn‘t firewalled and everything could communicate openly to the internet? That doesn‘t sound secure on a military level 😄

That’s what happens when a country commits industrial suicide. Net Zero has finished the UK 🇬🇧

There are thousands of video teleconferencing codecs in our most sensitive government contractors facilities, I won't say where, but they're all labeled "Made in China", very clearly, right there on the stickers and boxes. I raised the question of why we would be allowing this, and was told the manufacturer got a "waiver" from the US govt to put what is almost certainly Chinese spy equipment in SCIFs. It's illegal to have products not made in the US or an allied nation in a SCIF according to TAA. And then they were worried about fucking TikTok, meanwhile...there are SCIFs with cameras, microphones, and allegedly disconnected antennas. What can you do, nobody gives a shit.

"Because Cameras from NATO are so expensive ... lets buy on TEMU instead, what could go wrong?" - Woker, a left-wing politician on the military procurement committee -

British: Our Navy Drones China: Also our Navy drones 💀

I would be surprised if every chinese produced TV, radio, computer, router, cell phone, etc isn't secretly sending data to China.

Here we are pouring billions into Ukraine 🇺🇦 to break up Russia and the Chinese are getting free intel from us🤣🤣🤣

THAT'S WHY ANY MILITARY SHOULD AVOID CHINESE-MADE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT. SAME GOES FOR MANUFACTURERS OF SENSITIVE HIGH TECH PRODUCTS.

This is what happens when you use other countries to do work that should be done at home. Just because exporting labour and buying from abroad is cheaper does not make it the smart thing to do. This counts for everything in this country -we should grow more of our own food and support british farmers in doing so -call centres and other remote work should be legally required to have their workers actually living in the UK -we need to limit cheap foreign copies of devices that have not been quality tested and do not conform to legal standards required. Zero military or government equipment should have any slight link to another non allied country as this creates national security concerns. Companies thay do trade in Britain should have a British head office with full liability for taxes and repercussions in any legal entanglements.

So many WTFs/min...

what sort of moron allows any sort of "Armed Forces" device to be "connected to the internet"!? sounds like a clown factory designed that tin dinghy with a webcam and called it "millitary innovation" ;-) what a shit show..

Some say NATO can protect themselves without the US🤣🤣 Get your ... together EU

Keep buying Chinese technology and you'll find more of these backdoors

Just as I said many years: There is no such thing as the WEST anymore! From now on, on the world stage, there are only two blocks of the globalist Zionist Jews: China and four Jewish states (Turkey, Iran, Israel, Ukraine)!

🤦🏻😹

And we are going to build them a brand new super embassy in London. Make that make sense!!!

Lessons are still not being learned or acted upon! Whilst I hold an aerospace qualification as an aerospace engineer, I cant work on aircraft because I don’t hold an updated licence. Despite holding the updated licence for the 2000’s update in detecting counterfeit parts, I need to pay the full cost of the update again, to just get a rubber stamp on my log book, and a few pieces of paper. I also need to do a course on spotting counterfeit components, pretty much the same course, because lessons were not learned! Whats the chances the lessons were still not learned!

This is only going to get worse as well especially with the super embassy that is still being built.

We know we can't trust Chinese components.. Why are the MoD clearing the purchases of non approved items? In factories we are told not to purchase Chinese state cameras or components that record data and have transmission capacity for the same reasons. They can't be trusted.

Same probably for US equipment...

Oooo so this is China tech given to UK with promises that China is not siphoning data from it lol

ohh yea im shocked china kit is phoning home,, come on people

Amateurish.

你意思是说英国军用网络不是独立的,直接和国际互联网连接?还能传输资料到中国? 那估计有你们资料的可不光是中国了...

Starmer was a China puppet He did everything to undermine

Did no one think to check this before they were deployed?

This is an excuse. They were transmitting data. US found out. Then came the 'accidental' excuse.

活该。

Senden daha uyanuğı her zaman vardır...

@TimothyNMarsha1 The British knew Do not doubt me

Then, please use the equipment made in the UK. Lol

So giving a communist country our manufacturing was a great idea. Right comrades.

Suprising only the MoD it appears we should have nothing Chinese in our key infrastructure Civilian & especially Military........that Embassy is a national disgrace ffs
