The Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center is currently hosting the NCA All-Star National Championship, a huge cheerleading event drawing teams from across the country. Dallas police have set up a family reunification center at their HQ due to a disturbance near the convention center and Omni Hotel. #ICYMI - my report from last night detailed the chaotic moments of confusion and uncertainty for people as they rushed to safety Saturday afternoon during the NCA All Star Cheer Championship competition at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. Dallas Police confirm no shooting happened, it was the result of a fight between two people that caused multiple poles to get knocked down and the loud noises caused the panic and rush of people. Multiple people were hurt in the chaos but their injuries are non-life threatening. No arrests have been made and police did not share if anyone was detained during the incident.
