B-52 is a 50 year old platform. Granted they get gutted, re-wired, new engines, and re-furbished but...It's still a 50 year old air frame in many cases.

B-52's were produced between 1952 and 1962 so they are about 65 years old, give or take. They should all be retired and replaced with modern bombers. Hopefully, the crew had time to bail out.
