This supermarket manager was walking back inside the store when he noticed that a customers car was on fire. He immediately ran inside and grabbed a fire extinguisher. He proceeded to smash the window of the car to put out the fire. Just as he was doing this, the owner came out and was freaking out to see that, only to remember that she had a lit scented candle in the car to help with unwanted smells. This man decided to get his repairs done by someone who can do it cheaper and ended up almost doubling his repair bill just to try to save himself $400. Back in 2003 I had someone hit and run my new car. The rear bumper needed replaced, it was barely hanging on by a thread. I was new to how insurance worked and decided to have it fixed out of pocket. I shopped around and most shops were pretty close in price except for one. The owner was very arrogant and spoke about how he was the best around and I would be silly to take it anywhere else for my repairs. After I got the car back, I noticed that he did not do any prep work at all, how he got the part was how he painted it. There was a parts sticker on the bumper and he painted right over it. He didn’t even check the paint code. He saw a black bumper and proceeded to paint it black even though the paint didn’t match. When I confronted him about how unhappy I was about the steps he didn’t do, he defended his work by saying I didn’t specify I wanted it prepped. He blamed me for his shortcomings. Initially he even refused to refund me but ended up refunding me the money minus the cost of the wrong shade paint.

This young man was handwashing his car since there was no line here. He does it all the time. The cars we see are for the automatic car wash. Anyways he already paid once and got water in the bucket so he could hand wash, after he did that he was preparing to put more money in so he could rinse. An employee comes up and takes the money out of his hand and pushes him and tells him to leave. Claiming Hess making others wait yet we see nobody there waiting. Would you have left too? The cops came and heard him out but since the employee wanted him to never come back, he was asked to respect that. I used to do this all the time especially when traveling. Sometimes I like doing it in the winter because of all the salt and such, I don’t want it damaging my paint. One time I decided to do this at about 2 in the morning on the way to the gym. Obviously there was nobody there and there is usually an officer parked in the parking lot because there used to be reports of people parking back there in the dark sleeping and doing other stuff. I was in the middle of my hand wash when a homeless man literally climbed from behind the dumpster nearby and asked why I was being noisy. I told him I was only washing my car and I was allowed to as it was a 24 hr spot and h paid after all. He started being unreasonable and I flagged the officer behind me, it took him about 30 seconds to notice and he pulled up and I explained what was going on. He said he figured that’s what I was doing since he often saw me doing it before. He did tell the homeless man to leave, and he did without incident. I was able to finish rinsing and drying my car and I left. I don’t live in a bad area, so I don’t feel unsafe doing this, have you ever had an issue washing the car at night? Night time is so much better, quieter and less busy.

Crossing the river in his car in such a strong current was very dangerous because he could have been swept away along with his car.
