A huge rally was held today in the Kech area of Hoshab against the brutal suppression of Baloch people and in support of the ongoing movement of BYC against Baloch Genocide. A large number of women and children took part in the rally, asking for an end to state brutality in Balochistan and showing their firm support for the ongoing movement, which enters its fifth phase. #ISPR DG ISPR General Syed Asim Munir, COAS visited Quetta Garrison, #Balochistan, today where he was briefed on recent terrorist attack in Zhob. #COAS Paid rich tribute to the Shuhada, visited the injured soldiers at CMH, Quetta, lauded their services to the nation and appreciated their resolve. The Armed Forces of Pakistan have serious concerns on the safe havens and liberty of action available to TTP in Afghanistan. It is expected that interim Afghan Government would not allow the use of its soil to perpetrate terror against any country, in the real sense and in line with commitments made in Doha Agreement. The involvement of Afghan nationals in acts of terrorism in Pakistan is another important concern that needs to be addressed. Such attacks are intolerable and would elicit effective response from the Security Forces of Pakistan. Recent attack by BLF on brave soldiers of #PakistanArmy in Pasni is an excellent example in this regard, where the former used monstrous means to inflict harm on the defenders of the soil only to further their separatist ideals. However, their malicious actions backfired as the young students and residents of Makran rejected the actions of the BLF and other Baloch terrorist organizations. The manifestation of this rejection can be seen in this video, where the youngsters of Gwadar pay heartfelt homage to the 14 martyrs who lost their lives in a BLF-backed terrorist attack earlier this month. While the mouthpieces of Baloch terrorist groups and ultranationalistic terrorist sympathisers tried their best to divert people’s minds and garner their favour, the people, on the other hand, rejected their false narratives and decided to side with the true defenders of the Baloch nation, the Pakistan Army. This shows that the actions of terrorist organisations like BLF may appear like a victory to them, but these wicked actions are drifting the youth of Balochistan away from their vile ideology. There is a difference between peaceful Islam, radical extremism, and political Islam. When people around the world repeatedly see terrorist organizations like ISIS, Al Qaeda, or the Muslim Brotherhood, among others, using religious language while slaughtering innocent people, fear spreads because evil is being falsely wrapped in faith. The problem is not Islam. The problem is radical extremist movements that hijack religion for power and violence. Islam itself forbids forced belief and the killing of innocent people. The Quran says, “There is no compulsion in religion” (2:256). Extremism is not faith.
