Two people were rescued by the Longview Fire Department in Texas when their hot air balloon became tangled in a communications tower about 900 feet in the air. With the help of the firefighters’ rope systems and harnesses, the people were able to safely descend to the ground.

Operating a Sting interceptor drone, I downed 3 enemy aerial targets in one day: a Shahed and two Gerberas. Three launches — three kills. This is part of a broader idea: involving non-mobilized citizens in air defense. I went through the full training myself — from FPV schools (Kruk, Wild Hornets) to field practice with top pilots. We already have the technology. What we need are more pilots. Ready to share experience — up to 60% of the skills can be learned at home. Recruitment is open. Also submitted my first bill to improve air defense at the legislative level. Special thanks to the Wild Hornets team — now the #1 system in interceptions (600+ hits/month). More to come. Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦

This would be the first sighting of German-delivered MK 556 assault rifles with Ukrainian Air Assault Forces! The 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade published interviews with their soldiers, of which all are equipped with MK 556 assault rifles, about the defence of Vovchansk. Prior to the now published footage, these modern assault rifles were only in use with SOF units under command of HUR MO or the International Legion. Examples would be the Red Line team or the Special Operations Centre South. Germany has delivered a total of 2,425 MK 556 assault rifles to Ukraine, with another 2,575 ones to be delivered in the future (as of today). Recently within June, Germany delivered a big batch of 800 rifles. This should be the time the 82nd Separate Air Assault Brigade received them. With the distribution among other Ukrainian branches, I doubt that the supply will stop after the original planned 5,000 rifles.

Among the scenes are launches of air-defense missiles, apparently fired from something resembling a container-based launcher. However, the video does not allow a direct or definitive identification of the system shown, so it cannot be stated with certainty that this is the same platform. That said, it is possible that this is the first publicly released video showing the operation of the British Gravehawk air-defense system in Ukraine. According to statements from the United Kingdom, Ukraine received two prototype units of this air-defense system at the beginning of this year. The system itself was first unveiled almost exactly a year ago.

So, there is no denying that the battlefield has shifted. We are shifting from concentrated Air power to a decentralised and autonomous way. We must understand that the Unmanned Aerial (UA) systems are extensions of Air power… There is also reduced risk in terms of human life during the operation… As I said, it is an extension of Air power, so all the rules of Air power will apply when you use the UA system… When we talk about counter UA systems, it is like a cat-and-mouse game. When you develop technology in one field, the counter technology has to develop along with it because that is how a game can be played… I think we have done reasonably well in Operation Sindoor, and it was possible because there was coordination. Without a central agency coordinating it, it would not have been possible… We have a structure in place so that every time we are able to counter these things… We will have all three services operating in the same Air Space, then there has to be total coordination…”

On Tuesday the Air Wing responded to Lee to assist with the search for a missing hunter. The hunter was in contact with rescuers via radio, but was unsure of his exact location. Air 4 responded and quickly located the man, then directed rescuers from the air to his location.
