Just like last week, Shaq Leonard expressing frustration with scaled back role. Leonard got 39 snaps last week (2nd lowest of year), despite no Zaire Franklin. Clear staff disagreement from Leonard, who doesn’t see role (splitting 1st & 2nd downs, no 3rd down) changing in '23.

Just got back from super quick workout and absolutely soaked. I mean super quick I didn’t do any stretching in between no warmup no nothing just hit the park and back and I’m drenched. I had to keep this one in because I’v only had three workouts this week and only three workouts last week anyways I couldn’t fall asleep so I had to get out of the house bodyweight down slightly body fat down slight

Texas A&M HC Mike Elko - Building Defensive IQ for Winning Situational Football "It starts to me with you have to develop football 101 in your defense. You've got to take a step back & you've got to build some level of general football knowledge in your defensive unit. It's sometimes the things that can save you when you don't call the perfect defense/scheme. Down & Distance Understanding... 2nd & 7+ - We have won 1st down... The offense is now trying to get themselves back in favorable positions for 3rd down. Here the battle is for half the yardage. - Offensively you will see a lot of RPOs, Quick Game, Screen & Draw. This is not a down where you will see a lot of high risk types of offensive plays. - Defensively we play this down & distance like a 3rd down off 1/2 the yardage... (2nd & 8 is like 3rd & 4, 2nd & 14 is like 3rd & 7) 2nd & 4-6 - We have lost 1st down. Now we must make a play on 2nd down to try to re-create an advantage for 3rd down. Success on this down is similar to 1st & 10. We are looking to hold them to 3 or less. - This is a down where the offense usually sticks to their strengths. Again, they are looking for a low risk play that will keep the chains moving forward. - For us we call this D&D no different than 1st down. 2nd & 1-3 (Waste) - Thus for the offense is known as a waste down. This is a D&D where the offense is likely to take a deep shot because they are in a favorable position for 3rd down. - Offenses will try double moves & max protection shot plays a lot on this D&D - For us on defense, this is a big zone pressure down. Last week I asked the Tánaiste a direct question in the Dáil. Who reviewed a reading list, linked from a Healthy Ireland library initiative, before it went into libraries serving twelve-year-olds. A list that includes material with explicit sexual content. His answer: he doesn’t know. No Minister. No department. No agency. Bronx: East 149th Street & 3rd Avenue, a chaotic scene unfolded last week Tuesday on a Bronx subway platform as officers moved in to arrest a man following a disturbance inside the station. Wild footage shows multiple officers from the NYPD 40th Precinct and officers from NYPD Chief of Transit District 12 struggling to take the suspect into custody as he actively resisted arrest. At one point, officers deployed a Taser while attempting to gain control, drawing the attention of dozens of confused passengers watching from the platform. The situation quickly escalated, with shouting, physical resistance, and commuters trying to figure out what was happening as police worked to restrain the individual and clear the area. The suspect was ultimately taken into custody. The suspect, a 24-year-old male who lives in Manhattan within the confines of NYPD Midtown North Precinct, was arrested and charged: • Intentionally / Fraudulently Obtain Transportation Without Paying •Resisting Arrest • Criminal Trespass – 2nd Degree • Obstruction of Governmental • Administration – 2nd Degree • Harassment – 1st Degree Disorderly Conduct • Assault – 3rd Degree (with intent / causing physical injury)

I was shocked sitting in RRAT estimates one time when the head of the Infrastructure Department who earns circa $1 million a year started complaining about answering questions on notice from Senators, whose role of course is to ask questions about government operations. He manages 2,000 staff yet complained about having to answer 400 questions with a four week turnaround. It’s no wonder nothing gets done by Government with managers like this. People First intends to streamline the bureaucracy so that taxpayers get better value for money. There is too much inefficiency in government, especially in Infrastructure given the States are responsible for building most of it.

Be quicker to the checkdown, which he pumps. 4. 4th and 10, rushed play and snap due to sideline indecision. 5 on the line + 1 extra rusher puts Karlaftis vs Schultz. Easy win around the edge. Spags special with no easy outlet. 5. 1st and 10. Looks like a lazy chip here from Schultz. QB depth is exactly the angle that Karlaftis takes. Both downfield routes have two DBs on them. Just last week, 4 nominees for the 8th Circuit Eastern District of Missouri had their judiciary committee hearing, and it’s SO bad. Every single one of the nominees agreed with Sen. Durbin that President Trump must follow the orders of radical judges who issue nationwide orders halting deportations of criminal aliens to places like El Salvador and Venezuela. Even worse, one nominee, Maria Lanahan, is married to Michael Lanahan, who worked for the Club for Growth—an organization that spent millions of dollars AGAINST Trump in the 2024 GOP primaries. This is the same husband who represented the Ferguson rioters pro bono. Why is she being awarded with a potential lifetime appointment to the federal judiciary? 3 of the 8th circuit nominees worked for Raymond Gruender, a FedSoc Federalist Society judge who’d refused to acknowledge that the 2020 election was stolen. Gruender is very close with Leonard Leo. A pipeline of clerks for these nominees is also being curated by Leo’s Teneo Teneo network & UChicago Federalist Society. Watch Lanahan fail to even coherently answer a very basic question regarding jurisprudence. Her nomination should be rescinded.

Ludvig Aberg gives a refreshingly honest assessment of his round today: “Yeah, obviously really disappointed. I felt like I was striking it okay early on. Got away with a few things, especially No. 4, kind of left miss. “But overall pleased with the week. Obviously today the back nine was not good, but that's the way it goes sometimes.” “It got away from me quick there (on 11 and 12). Yeah, it was just poor swings. I felt like I've had that sort of 7-wood right miss a few times this week, on No. 4 especially twice, and it came up on 11 as well. “Then tried to press a little bit on 12, hitting driver, where sometimes you can play 3-wood a little short of that bunker. “Yeah, obviously really disappointed. I would have loved to be standing where Cameron is standing right now. But overall I still felt like I saw some nice things in my game this beak.” He then went on to talk about the positives he can take away from this week: “I think obviously the biggest thing that I take away is that I feel like I'm playing nice golf. I'm playing golf to the point where I feel like I can contend in big tournaments. “Obviously a good finish last week and still a top-5 finish this week. Overall I feel like I'm playing good golf, which is really nice. It's nice to see on a hard golf course last week, hard golf course this week. That makes me excited. “Obviously I would have loved a different back nine outcome today, but looking at the grand scheme of things, I'm pleased with my golf game.” All class from Ludvig after a really difficult back 9.
