I just spent $32 on a fish and chips lunch at Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant at the wharf in DC, and it’s not the one you think. I knew about Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s kitchen restaurant at the wharf in Washington DC, but I didn’t realize that they also put in a Gordon Ramsay fish and chips right across the walkway. it is kinda like what would happen if a fast food restaurant changed their oil appropriately. The food comes out fast, the batter is light and fluffy and crispy and not stale, and it tastes good, not great. so as a fast food restaurant, this is a very good one, but I don’t think they think it’s fast food. Because after upgrading my fries and adding an iced tea, the total price I paid for this very small portion of food was $32. so if they’re not fast food, they’re competing with Irish pubs, and that might put the price more in the same range. But now that’s where the portion of food comes in, because at some Irish pubs, they give you like two or three full fish not just too little fish sticks. So, yes, you were paying an up charge for less food, and while the food is not terrible, I would still say it’s probably kind of a tourist trap. I don’t know what do you think? i’ll probably get my fish and chips at an Irish pub next time.

Somewhere along the way, mistakes were made — one ODG Super Duty MOD1 took an unexpected drop on the shop floor. We inspected it. Tested it. Then gave it to Count Blemula to mark it as a blem for the giveaway. It’s still exactly what you’d expect from a Geissele, just with a bit more character. I haven’t been inside the Rio Hotel, All-Suite Resort & Casino in Las Vegas in a while — and honestly, if you haven’t been here lately, you might not recognize it. The place has been seriously refreshed. One of the first things that hit me was keno. I completely forgot keno was still a thing, and seeing it again gave me this instant old-school Vegas flashback. It used to be everywhere, and walking through the Rio brought back that nostalgia. But this isn’t just old Vegas. They’ve revamped the colors, opened up the space, replaced the old buffet with a massive updated food hall, added a new check-in area, new restaurants, walk-up spots, new bars, and a completely redesigned circle bar right in the main casino area as you come in. It used to be everywhere, and walking through the Rio brought back that nostalgia. But this isn’t just old Vegas. They’ve revamped the colors, opened up the space, replaced the old buffet with a massive updated food hall, added a new check-in area, new restaurants, walk-up spots, new bars, and a completely redesigned circle bar right in the main casino area as you come in.
