The reason they claimed Alex Pretti was brandishing a deadly weapon is because to them, a camera recording clear evidence of ICE crimes is just that. I’ll keep it simple. ICE agents do not enjoy “absolute immunity” and those who commit violent crimes will be prosecuted. We will enforce the rule of law in this country.

Today, federal agents shot and killed Alex Jeffrey Pretti. A 37 year old man. A United States citizen. A Minnesotan. An ICU nurse who cared for veterans. A resident looking out for his neighbors -- as Minnesotans always do. In his final moments, he was seen trying to help a woman who had been shoved to the ground by masked federal agents. We have now lost two 37 year old Minnesotans, who are dead at the hands of federal agents. Minnesotans are in agony watching our communities terrorized and families torn apart. This needs to end.

Alex Pretti was killed for defending a woman being assaulted by federal agents while being doused with Bear Spray. These raids aren’t about immigrants or criminals. If it were about crime or the safety of children, Trump would be in jail instead of the White House.
