just posted an update to my UE Toolbox, fixing a few bugs and adding some new drawing tools (thx @b_swinny). A great thing about not being tied to the UE release cycle is that I can do this every week, not twice a year!

So, I've been secretly making a Factorio-like game for about a year now. I was planning to release it maybe a few months ago, ahead of the big Factorio update. But now that's in a few weeks, and my game's not quite ready. What should I do? Any gamedev folks have advice?

App Store localization is another boring process. You have to write release notes and update descriptions for every supported language for every release. I used to do that, and in the end, I used English for all languages 😅 So, I create an app to solve this problem. You can create a new version and localize metadata within one click. #iosdev

Was able to grab an example from both POVs here, so people can better understand that I'm not just talking about random blank shots. This is a consistent thing that will happen on every last bullet if you are the player with higher ping - this was 48 ping vs 30 ping so being within 18 ping is still not enough. The new network update coming should help with this specifically, so I'm holding out hope for that, but losing 2+ pivs a game by default by being the higher ping player is insanity.

Not much surprises me anymore, but walking into the New York Stock Exchange for a meeting, then seeing our Tip of the Spear logo on every screen, absolutely floored me. This was an amazing opportunity to spread the word about and the landmine crisis in Ukraine. I will continue to use every opportunity and platform I can to make sure we do not forget that there is a war raging in Ukraine and people are suffering.
